So many varieties of food at this night market. But there is one food stall which offer a very special and unique food, it is call 'Rou Jia Mo'. There's no english name but if were to translate directly from mandarin, it should call meat added bun or maybe meat bun. You can literally smell the aroma from a distance. It is located approx. 50 meters after the BHP petrol station. The bun is savory, delicious, aromatic, peppery with chili powder. We tried the BBQ Lamb and the taste is still lingering in my mouth after more than an hour. Will try other flavors. Was here today to try 'Rou Jia Mo' pork. Their braised pork was cook for hour in medium heat. The braised is savory with meaty taste and not oily. It is very good more on the lighter side. If were to compare, I will prefer the lamb as it is overwhelmed with lots of spices.
The is another unique stall and it's just two or three stalls away. The stall is called 'cheese egg roll' and it serves 3 types of ingredients hash brown, chicken sausage and chicken ham. Only open every Monday evening. We visited this pasar malam during our last visit to KL. It's a huge pasar malam with a lot of food stalls and some other selling fruits, toys, grocery, clothes etc. We like the vibes here and it is filled with people after 7pm onwards.
We brought alot of foods from the food stalls i.e mala bean curd, Thai milk tea, muah Chee, oyster omelette etc. While carrying all the tons of food we find a table at the nearby hawker and settle down.
We order some other dishes from the hawker stall to pair with our foods. I like their Chng Tng and Penang Char Kueh Tiao. We had a wonderful dinner here.
There are so much things and foods to see and eat here. And now is the durian season but tummy has no space for more. 😭 Will come back again
Love it...
