This place definitely has been the worst by any means for food consumed in my life. For the love of God and yourself, I would urge any persons to seriously reconsider patronising this place. It has been nearly 2 decades since visiting this place to be surprised by the disappointing food and drinks. Granted we were amongst the extreme few who were ordered the local food as most tables did order Malaysian style western food. It was really disappointing how it turned out. To elaborate, staff had little to no awareness of allergens the menu items may contain. Worst still, they were not even aware of the ingredients that their menu items had stated. The mee goreng mamak and maggie goreng had chicken listed in the ingredients but was not in either orders we had. The staff provided a "justification" that the menu was new and the kitchen folks were not aware that the noodles were meant to have chicken. They offered to have fried eggs as a replacement which totally baffled us as to how that was a suitable substitute. Furthermore, the maggie goreng was so bland. To make matters worst, they took our partially eaten plates to refry with chicken and the plate of maggie goreng tasted so bad that it was totally inedible - it was worst than the first plate. Further worsening already an inconsumable item, the whole plate of maggie goreng was carcinogenic laden with burnt bits that was almost a way to send off any consumer to a cancerous journey. It was almost beggar's belief how a staple Malaysian dish available at any mamak stall could be so badly prepared & served. Also, the kitchenhand messed up the orders we had for cold drinks instead they served us hot drinks that were replaced when I pointed the order chit showing it was meant to be cold. Also, the menu item of tea with ginger and lemongrass was so watered down that there was no ginger and almost minimal lemongrass. With this, I highly urge anyone thinking of this place to reconsider. We left feeling hungry. To further seal the dining experience, we saw rats running on the street just outside of the restaurant.

Murni SS2 remains a beloved hang-out place for late-night supper and a diverse menu. While the quality has slightly dipped over the years, its extensive offerings and generous portions continue to draw crowds. Their succulent tandoori chicken is a definite highlight, bursting with lime flavor. However, the grilled chicken was a disappointment; it's obviously a fried chicken chop masquerading as something else. The "Mee Raja" is a consistent standout, often recommended for its flavorful noodles and hearty add-ons. Other popular choices include various Roti Canai creations, like the unique Roti Hawaii, and an array of Nasi Goreng dishes, with the "Meletup" version offering a spicy kick. Despite the often-packed environment and occasional slow service, Murni's appeal lies in its casual "mamak" vibe and the sheer variety of Malaysian and Western fusion dishes available. It's a go-to spot for those seeking comfort food, a casual hangout with friends, or a satisfying meal at unconventional hours.

*updated the latest food taste. Happy and enjoy after visiting twice. Bravo!šŸŽ‰ As always their Calamansi Assam Boi drink is very nice. My all time favorite drink. For the food, the portion sometimes large sometimes small. Why I said so? We ordered twice the carbonara spaghetti. First time a lot. Second time lesser. For the indo Mee taste not so consistent. First plate was enough taste and wet. Second plate was dry... hopefully kitchen can maintain their consistency. For the Germany mee, quite spicy compare to previous years dishes. This time I was so quite disappointed because the sausage tastes very weird and just got few pieces on top. But lucky is few pieces, if not it will totally spoiled the noodles taste. Nasi lemak Discovery Murni still sedap like always. Hopefully all food can maintain like previous. Last but not least, when will have roti? We missed your roti so much!

Sharing an update for the last visit in 2023. No idea what happened to this place but it gradually become so much worse throughout 2023.

This place is used to be known for their large portions, reasonable price and roti Hawaii.

Firstly they brought back naan bread and the portion on certain stuff remains ok so these are the only positives.

Then everything became much more expensive because inflation. What really irks me is the quality of their food that is not up to par for what they charged. One example is the indomee double. It used to be (sort of?) Al dente and flavorful which is really to my liking. I don't know if they changed the cooks or their noodles used; now it's just soggy and mushy the moment it's served. Not to mention taste blander as well.

Chicken chop is much smaller now for rm13. Also their chili sauce feels somewhat like a knockoff version of chili sauce. It's not spicy, taste plasticky and full of chemical sweetness only.

I wished they'd go back to their glory days quality and roti Hawaii could come back :( I'm so disappointed and prolly won't...

I had a very disappointing experience with the Maggie Germany at this restaurant. First, the service was extremely slow, even though I ordered earlier, other tables who came later received their food much faster, while I was still waiting for mine.

Second, I noticed from older Google reviews that customers had already given feedback about the portion size and sausages in the Maggie Germany. The management had replied, saying they would look into it for improvement, but sadly after years, nothing has changed.

The worst part is that after eating the Maggie Germany, I suffered from severe diarrhea for four days. I honestly never imagined in my life that instant noodles could cause me such food poisoning.

On top of that, the menu is unclear. As customers, we cannot tell which dishes are spicy or not just from the names. It would be a huge improvement if you added a simple chili logo to indicate spiciness.

Overall, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had, and I will never order Maggie...
