Parking : parking was plenty and free and like 1 min distance from cafe
Ambience : Good , but outdoors seating is hot
Lack of Clear Instructions: There was no signage from left side of shop, indicating that we had to wait to be seated since we came from parking lot. We sat down ourselves, only to be told later that it was a table belonging to another outlet. Then, we had to queue again on the other side which have label wait to be seated. It would be helpful if signs or instructions were placed on both sides of the café.
Outdoor Seating Issues: uncomfortably hot despite the parasols. Perhaps consider adding fans .
Order Confusions: No one informed us that we needed to order at the counter. We called a waiter to place our order, only to be told to go to the counter. Que was long , might be people confirm menu replacement during order placing @ counter instead.
Table Condition: table was damaged, with chipped wood and sawdust coming off. This made the dining experience less pleasant. The dust kept falling on my lap.
Food & Value : premium cafĂ© level, but not all dishes matched the expectation. Nasi lemak was disappointingâthe sambal tasted more like plain chili paste and lacked depth , 2/10 Shakshuka was good, 8/10 big roti portion but shakshuka small portion for the price of rm22 The Big Breakfast was said to serve 1â2 pax, but the bread portion was more suitable for 1 person only. 7/10 For ice blended drinks/coffee 9/10 tasted nice . perhaps ask customer when ordering , offer an option to serve in a takeaway cupâsome customers may not be able to...
Read moreI did a bit of coffee hunting after some errands in Presint 3, Putrajayaâand stumbled upon this spot called Coffee Department. Let me just say, this little cafĂ© deserves a promotion because itâs definitely a hidden gem for coffee lovers!
I ordered a hazelnut latte, and wowâchefâs kiss. It hit all the right notes: perfectly balanced, not too sweet, deliciously creamy, and yes, it came with some decent latte art (extra points for effort). Honestly? 5/5 for that cup alone. No exaggeration.
Feeling peckish, I also tried their salmon sandwich on ciabatta breadâabsolutely tasty! Though next time Iâll politely remind them to ease up on the mayo (and whatever mysterious creamy element was trying to steal the spotlight from the salmon). Still, worth the calories.
And ohâthe muffin! It looked good, tasted even better. Moist, not overly sweet, and the kind that makes you feel like you deserve a reward just for finding this place.
Despite being an open space setup, the ambience was surprisingly chill. Theyâve got a tiny fountain trickling in the background, which gave it that calming, almost therapeutic vibe, like your coffee came with a side of inner peace.
Conclusion? Coffee Department = discovered. Mood = lifted. Taste buds...
Read moreCame at about 9.30am on a Sat morning to have breakfast with my family. The cafe has a simple setting and they offer simple western and local(nasi lemak) breakfast menu.
The food is good and price is okay considering it is located at the centre of putrajaya official district.
What i would like to commend most is their staffsâ customer service. They provide us with small fan in case weâre hot, cuz weâre seated outside. When they deliver our food they said sorry for the delays (when itâs not that long actually). One final gesture that put cherry on top was when i finished washing my hands at the sink, i turned around and this one male staff waited for me to hand me some tissues. Thatâs 5 star service!
I wish this cafe all the best and they deserve all the stars available.
P/s: while iâm writing this review at the table, thereâs another staff came and asked, âsemua order dah dapat ke?â. At this point i trust this is the best cafe i have been to for a...
