Visited this food truck hotspot recently while staying at Dorsett for the weekend
Opens at around 6pm and closed by midnight. Lots of tables and chairs available but can certainly get crowded especially on weekends and public holidays. Can tapau your food and drinks to have it beside the lake with nice view in case you run out of chairs and tables. No fret. Food choices is quite good. Hot food, pre-prepared ones, cold drinks, hot drinks, local, western, deserts. Taste? It really depends on whether you are a picky eater or not I would say
Pricey food? Some yes, some is reasonable. We pay for the atmosphere and environment actually. Same if you buy from Starbucks. 1 coffee RM20 expensive or not, it depends on what you are looking for. Coffee or restaurant vibe. Want cheaper things, don't come and visit in the first place. With that in mind, I'd say that the place has the vibes of a good open-air place to hang out with friends and family. The busker there can sing well too. Again, if you're hoping that they will sing English or Hits songs all the way, then you are in the wrong place. They'll go table to table for donation. Feel like it, donate. If not, just say no and smile
Parking space is a lot nearby. If you don't mind walking a bit that is. If you don't want to walk, just order food online at home and they deliver them to you. Simple. No need to go out. No need to walk
Some of the food is simple to prepare while others are not so depending on what food you want, the waiting time and queue follows. Expect queues during peak hour so don't come when you are very hungry. Some sellers accept cash only but most of them at least accept QR pay. So, no need to worry so much of not having enough cash when you're there
As with all food truck squares, the rule is we clean up our own table when we are done. Thrash cans are plenty there and the staffs cleared them quite efficiently. So no reason to be so lazy and expect other patrons to clear up the mess you left. Yet, some still act stubborn and do as what...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Putrajaya, I had the pleasure of exploring its vibrant food truck hotspot. One particular highlight was the 'Moi Sup' and 'Oden' – both dishes were absolutely delicious, offering a perfect blend of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The variety of food available was impressive, ranging from classic street food favorites to more unique offerings. I was particularly taken by the array of choices – from mouth-watering pizzas to juicy burgers, and the ever-so-popular 'Char Kuey Teow'. Each dish I tried was better than the last, showcasing the culinary skills of the local chefs. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal and soak in the local vibe. Whether you're a foodie or just someone looking for a good meal, the Putrajaya Food Truck Hotspot is...
Read moreThe food was okay not bad, but nothing particularly special. One of the highlights, though, is the live band that starts playing Malay songs from 7pm onwards, which adds a nice vibe to the evening. The place is very clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable spot to relax. I did find the prices to be a bit on the expensive side, especially when compared to other food truck dining experiences, though I suppose that’s subjective. What really stands out is the location right beside the lakeside, offering a beautiful view and a calm atmosphere. Plus, there’s a huge parking area that’s completely free, which is definitely a bonus. Overall, it’s a nice hangout spot, especially if you’re looking for a place with good ambiance...
