Good food, nice ambiance, friendly service.... with a touch of refinement, and a subtle hint of pedigree. Has a convenient lounge for drinks which doubles as an area for cocktail chatter before dinner.
Eventhough Senja did have a slight air of formal-ness about it, it did not come across as being too uppity. An oxymoron of sort but i do not have a better description. Perhaps the closest would be to describe it as being unpretentiously classy.
An awesome place to host an event, be it a private party or entertaing a group of business partners. I just attended a friends 50th Birthday. The setting and organisation was impeccable!
My only gripe is the name..... Senja give the impression of local dishes and Malay specialities, much like the Serai or Santai restaurants..... however Senja excels in authentic Italian cuisine. Here you will get fresh pastas and proper Italian pizzas. We had succulent roast beef loin, expertly done pan seared seabass, mushroom soup and not forgetting the *to die for" Tiramisu & Pana Cotta...

Ordered the bone marrow risotto but no bone marrow to be seen Lamb croquette was ok Pasta with beef was sooooo salty Service could be better - the waiter keep wanting to collect our plates even where there's still food on it and our cutleries were arranged in an 'X' which shows that were not done but he's prob not trained to know that

Santa made an appearance and there were carolers too. Live music throughout the meal (the singer has an amazing voice) and everyone at our table was delighted with their experience. The wine was good, the food was good, everything was good.
