Read moreDespite sending in my car twice to rectify some problems (sent during scheduled service) problems weren't rectified.
The first time I sent it in for 45K KM service interval I complained about the absorber making thumping and creaking sounds going over bumps or uneven surface. Claimed it was fixed. It wasn't.
So during the next 60K KM service interval I complained about the same problem, and other problems such as:
1.) Rattling noise due to (I suspect) poor assembly of the right side passenger door speakers 2.) Broken latch for the cubby hole access behind the armrest for back passenger seats (was told they couldn't replace that flimsy cheap plastic latch only , and have to change the whole armrest assembly for MYR2000, I rectified the problem myself for less than MYR30)
Apparently the complaints with regards to the absorbers and the noise wasn't even looked into despite me sending in the car in the morning and the service advisor didn't even tell me about it. I had to personally inquire whether it was rectified (at the end of the working day during collection) before being told that they were busy and had no time to look into it. In this case why was I told in the first place that these complaints would be looked into and it would involve me leaving the car for the whole day?
Overall I feel VW FA glenmarie have done a very poor job and I am never going there again. For those VW guys reading this..feel free to verify my claims. My car plate...
