Have been wanting to give it a try and there came the chance but we were quite disappointed and probably wouldn’t go back again.
We ordered a Caesar Salad, Stuffed Chicken Breast and a Lasagna. So they called it New Caesar Salad as they twisted it slightly with some crab meats added. When we saw that plate we were quite shocked as it’s supposed to be a main, not an appetiser (based on the menu). The portion is TINY as a main dish salad that cost us Rm40.60 after service charge and tax (same price as a lasagna). Can you believe it? We were not asking for more but at least just give us a little more green that is not costing them much. Also, if you look at the photo you can see there is a lot of the Mayo-like sauce on the green, which was way too much to our liking. Defeated the whole point of us trying to get a healthy salad to share when the green was so little and so much of the mayo/sauce.
Also, the Stuffed Chicken Breast again doesn’t have much chicken/meat on it. If you again look at my photo, you’ll see the bread crumb if not thicker than the meat then it’s equally thick as the meat. I barely tasted any chicken, and i would have called if chicken slices than a chicken breast. But the side with mushroom pumpkin and green was really nice.
Lasagna was the only dish we enjoyed out of the three dishes.
Last but not least, I think some of the waiters need some manner training. As not all restaurants in Malaysia serve accordingly, appetiser comes before main etc. I wanted to make sure we got the salad before the main so I made my request with one of the waiters/manager (he dressed a little different) which he nicely accepted. So when this guy passed on my message to another staff (a waiter), the waiter said to the guy “salad of course comes before the main”. Their service counter was literally right next to my table and I can hear the tone of voice of the waiter which replied in a way that made my request sounds like a silly request. I definitely does not appreciate it. Also, even if he has anything to say, should say it at the back area not in front of the customers. So please watch your words.
Conclusion is, i don’t recommend this place. But if you go, don’t order Caesar Salad and the Stuffed...

Taste: Depending on the menu your order.
We ordered the Big Daddy pizza as appetizer. Plain look, but tasty. Medium size and priced at RM45/pan
The Australia rib eye 300g was good. Well seasoned, tender and flavorful. Grilled as medium well. Comes with potatoes steak and a small cup of BBQ sauce.
The fish and chips however was not up to the mark. The batter was crunchy, but tasteless. The fish, possibly tilapia, also has that earthy petrichor sand taste. Comes with thin cut french fries, a small cup of tartar sauce and steamed green peas.
The creamy garlic mushroom was good. Comes with nice soft Turkish bread. Great combination of soup, soaked fried onions and bread.
The Asian fried noodle was tasty. Has that spicy, sour and a touch of sweetness. But, without the charred wok taste which is synonymous with Asian dishes. Comes in big portion and good for sharing, but with only 1 large prawn.
Drinks: We ordered fresh juice and soft drinks. The juice was just ok. Nothing special.
Service: Good. We were in a group of 11 pax. There was a queue for the table. The staff was helpful to find us a table in short time.
Ordering was fast. But, one of the male waiters misinformed us that the creamy garlic mushroom is not a soup. Later, we found that it was indeed a type of soup.
Service time was quick. Roughly between 15 to 20 minutes. But, the restaurant ran out of glasses to serve plain water.
Price wise, it is between the mid and higher range.
Some constructive comments for the restaurant: Food should not be served on the wooden chopping board due to health concern. After exhaustive use, germs could accumulate along the cut markings on the wooden board.
If asked, yes I would revisit this restaurant and try...
Read moreOK... I used to love coming here for celebrating occasions and sometimes meet ups with family, cousins and bestie.. However my latest visit was kinda bad a few weeks ago..
Dare I say portions are not what it was.. The carbonara cheese thingy used to be crispy and delicious and the one we had was soggy and chewy.. The salmon toast my aunt had she said just tasted so2, nothing to shout but edible... My hubby ordered a lamb shank rice dish and we also ordered fish and chips to share cause all of us wanted each a dish but fish and chips sounded nice too.
Food came I noticed the fish and chips and the lamb shank dish was served on a wooden cutting board type platter, and was luckily served on a serving paper and wasn't in direct contact to the wooden board..
I notice there's like ash looking fuzzy thingy, it kinda looked like mold.. But we were halfway eating and I didn't wanna make my hubby and aunt not finish their meal as it also wasn't cheap (being a bistro pricing).
Upon the staff clearing the dishes, I did informed them and soon I can see (which Im assuming was either the manager or senior staff) who came to the clearing station and check the wooden board that I voiced out earlier.. They scrapped black ashy thing with a knife and their finger/nails and made discusting face expression and shaking their heads.. Inadvertently agreeing what I had thought.
But you know what, they just came said sorry and that they will inform the cleaning/kitchen staff.. No comp, no discount no nothing that would've /could've made our experience better.
Will I be back? Maybe if other ppl inviting for a celebration/meetup, but if I find anything amissed I would informed them before even eating anything.. So something could be done..
