Main Place Mall — Attraction in Subang Jaya

I wanted to visit a shop after finishing my dinner in a shopping mall, but I couldn't find it. So, I went to the information counter to ask for directions. While queuing, I noticed that the information employee was treating two Malay ladies nicely with a smile. When it was my turn, I politely asked, "Hi, do you know where this shop is?" and showed him the shop information. He glanced at it for a second and rudely said, "Don't have." I felt a bit angry at his attitude.

Afterward, I went to ask a guard in Jaya Grocer. He politely said, "Go to the lower level and turn left." I followed his instructions and finally found the shop. After placing my order, I told the shop owner that I had trouble finding her shop because the information employee said it didn't exist. She responded by saying that's why there are fewer customers.

I decided to order one more item to prove the employee wrong. After my order was done, I went back to the information counter and asked the employee again if he knew where the shop was. He gave me the same rude attitude and the same answer, "Don't have." I asked him, "Are you sure? I'll give you a second chance to say it." This time, he said, "Have," and told me the location. He then asked if I had found the shop. I replied, "Yes," and questioned him about why he initially said it didn't exist. He didn't apologize and instead asked, "What do you want?" We argued, and he said he was busy, which is why he gave the wrong information. I told him that even if he's busy, he should provide correct information and not be rude.

Later on, he asked, "Do you want to fight? We can go outside to settle this." Such poor professionalism, thinking that fighting could solve the problem. My friend then asked him if he really told us to fight. He denied it, but I asked the security guard if he heard the employee say that. The guard said, "I don't know." If the guard said "No," it would mean the employee didn't say it, but since the guard said "I don't know," it seems like he was afraid to say "Yes."

After the argument and a reluctant apology from the employee, we just gave the ordered food to him and left. When we told the shop employees about the incident, they found it ridiculous. As a 10-year employee, how could he not know about a shop that has been there since the...

My all time fav mall (I guess I have to? Since I'm staying above it 😅 lol). Anyway, a decent & well-stocked Jaya Grocer.. got Lovisa, Komugi bakery shop, Uniqlo, Brands Outlet, Mr. DIY, Popular bookstore, Watson, a pharmacy (I forgot the name), Pet Lovers Centre, Daiso, Cotton On.. And this one hidden gem, a shop that sells these cool themed socks like JJK characters, Genshin, Marvel, DC, DBZ, what else? All sorts. Lol. Love this shop cuz now I know what to get for my husband and our male friends. These socks. Oh and a furniture store where I bought our recliner sofa 😅 The lady who was attending the shop was very nice and helpful.

But anyway, now onto the array of food shops: Tealive, Nando's, Sushi Zanmai, Bungkus KawKaw, Chagee Express, Shihlin, Starbucks, Subway, McDonald's, Manjoe Taiwanese restaurant, Fish & Co...

... and pretty sure many more that I couldn't remember on top of my head...

The only sad thing was, there used to be arcade place at the corner of level 1. As an avid gamer and lover of arcades, of course that's where my husband and I would waste our extra pocket money other than Jaya Grocer 😂 🥹 but now it's gone... Replaced with a kiddy park thingy ma jiggy sigh 😔
