Sant'Antnin Family Park — Attraction in Marsascala

This has the capability of being a great park. In fact, for young children it’s a great place to go. It has lots of equipment to play on, the landscaping is nice and it’s good for kids. However, the dog park isn’t even worth visiting - it’s a small fenced off area with an agility course. Owners have not picked up after their dogs and the water bowl was growing algae! There is a large amphitheater but a friend living in the area has not heard of any events which would suggest under use of a great area and idea. What should have been a kiosk is a graffitied shell that has not been finished and the maze has not been taken care of so, because of the dead evergreens, it’s no longer a maze. But, despite all this, there is still new development on the site. There is also a mini farm area that is well maintained but the enclosures look small for the animals, especially the goats. Lots of parking and space to run around.

It has a different playground areas, a dog exercise park, a meditation area, a place to exercise with some machines, a small zip line and a family swing.

There's also a small futbol stadium, other futbol courts and other green areas plus picnic tables. It has a big climbing house with slides but it's closed at the moment :(

If you don't feel like cooking, there's also a very small Chinese takeaway by the stadium opens every day but only early evenings. I still have to try it but smells nice. During the weekend afternoons, there's a food truck selling pizza, hot dogs and burgers plus Mr Whippy swings by often.

It also has a small animal farm, not a pet farm, but, the kids still love it. There is an old horse, sheep a llama and chickens.

Make sure to bring some apples as the horse will be greatful and let...

I will mark it as "Very Good" but the park was opened before completed. No restrooms, no bar...

Also the parking place is limited for the potential number of visitors it will receive, and it's receiving now.

Games and playground area is very good, and another good option for going with the kids besides BOV Park at Ta Qali.

Recommendations: pack water and snacks hats and sun creams a must during summer avoid it from 10:30 am to 16:00 pm: the sun will literally melt you away: no shadows (trees or artificial shadows...
