Grabiel Terrazza — Restaurant in Marsascala

The tables outside were dirty and broken. However, based on old Tripadvisor and google reviews we still decided to have dinner. Prawns were frozen, you can make the same prawns at home for less that 5 Eur instead of 18 Eur. Ribs were from old re-heated meat, drowning in ketchup, vegetables were old, "coslow" if you can even call that was in runny mayo (not sure how you can achieve that), octopus carpaccio I was told was okay, but did not even wanted to try it, with bruschetta's being served on an old bread, bread was also served before food and it was stale with only middle barely soft, Cisk beer was not even draft but from 0.33 ml can, seemed like every choice was made to cut costs. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because one of the waiters (I assume manager) read the room and offered complimentary drinks at the end (of course we pointed out that the meat was not good and old). Overall bad food at the time we visited, I also read a lot of google reviews afterwards which seemed fake with 4-5 stars and person has 1-4 reviews max (come on guys). This restaurant is located in the middle of Marsascala, between the promenade and the bus terminus. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is vast and prices are from low to average in comparison to other restaurant located in the same area. One can choose pizza, meat , steak, etc. We opted for a pizza. Service is quite fast and the waiters are very attentive to their clients needs. We only waited for about 20 mins to be served with the pizza. The pizza size was adequate, but on presentation it was obvious that the pizza was covered from both top and bottom with an unbelievable excessive amount of semolina. This was very obvious especially when one takes the focaccia Grabiel which contains garlic oil, parmesan cheese, Parma ham, cherry tomatoes and rocket salad leaves. Nice restaurant,when we went it was almost all locals there,so we said it must be good. I ordered pizza chicken blue cheese. It very was nice. The restaurant as the understood is pet friendly, which is very nice,(and I love pets) but unfortunately next to as behind other table there was huge dog eating some food,that food got stack,so the dog was making a lot of disgusting noise...so I wanted blew up ,the dog was liking adge of the table, and after people left with a dog, the waiter did not clean all table property (just clean a bit in the middle,but the edges remained how it was). So only that made my stay there...
