I've visited this café a few times, ordering the same drink—priced between €5 and €6—and was surprised to receive something noticeably different each time, both in quality and portion size. On one occasion, we decided to sit in and have a chat with the owner, mentioning that we might order something else later. To our surprise, the drink we received was about one-third the size of what we'd previously gotten for take-away, served in a much smaller cup. It felt intentional, as if they reduced the portion just because we said we might order more—which comes across as quite dishonest.
When we politely pointed this out, the response was dismissive—something along the lines of, “that’s why you try new things”.

Read moreThe owner, Trish is from Melbourne, via Dubai so the service and the coffee is excellent. Good coffee and almond croissant but the Chai, with almond milk option, which is a plus, was not as good as the Australian Chai brand, Prana. Trish had coffee shops in Melbournes' CBD and Mount Waverley so is now helping educate this region in serving coffee afficionados. Throughout our European travels it has been disappointing to see Starbucks opening in City Centres, which is worldwide consistent, but bland. Independent places like this, now open for 1 year, deserve regular clients. Our Aussie friends, arriving here in the next few weeks, will...
