It-Torri Restaurant — Restaurant in Sliema

Great view, horrible restaurant. Beyond the fact that the food was mediocre at best, the staff were rude and really ruined our date night! We get to the restaurant for 21:30 and are seated. There are a few tables taken, so restaurant didn't seem to be finishing service just yet. After we order and served our food at 22:00, the second to last table finally leaves, leaving us to be the last in the restaurant. However, half way through our food, the staff decide to shut all the lights off and close the restaurant, even though online it says they close at 23:00. Despite our plea to just keep the lights on until we finish our food, they ignored us, poured themselves drinks and left us to finish in the dark... Despite having ordered lots of food and a bottle of wine, we were left loosing our appetite and our dinner was ruined. I HIGHLY unrecommend this restaurant! Long story short, rude staff, bad food and unpleasant...

We have been waiting for 1 HOUR AND HALF for one wrap and one salad before leaving the restaurant. Personal not professional, insulting, dont care about you even if you are polite. I am not the type to post bad commentaries, all the contrary, but when We have to say the truth I have to say. All people in the restaurant were waiting their plates since one hour, nothing came. And you try to ask three time where are your plates (first two times a guy told us he would come back but he didnt care and went directly to others things. Useless to say that the third time personal was laughing and insulting with my boyfriend. Do you call it profesional or at least a restaurant ? They just give pity, good luck for the continuation, you will need some real balls😉, education...

I visited this restaurant with a couple of friends for lunch on a Saturday. We wanted to go elsewhere but this was the only restaurant that wasn’t fully booked in the area and that is for a reason.

Let’s start with the positives as there are very few. The service is friendly and relatively quick and the location is good with a nice view on the sea.

On the other side, the food was not great. I had a pizza while my friends had pasta and a burger and none of us was impressed with the respective meals. There are very few vegan options and there are no symbols in the menu that suggests whether a meal is gluten free or vegetarian or whatever else it is.

Poor experience and I would not recommend this place as it stands now. There are so many improvement...
