Amigos Sliema — Restaurant in Sliema

I have been a customer for amigos for over an year,I always uses the app to order pizza for delivery, as typical bachelor we order pizza for extended nights. today I did place an order for a pizza and taco for delivery at 22.35, the order was confirmed recieved a order number and the money was deducted right away as usual despite this I did wait till 23:30 for the delivery since the est. Delivery was said to be between 23:00 - 23:30. So I don't care to call or look for it until my phone sang a song. At 23:45 I thought something is fishy and tried to reach the outlet but I realised that it was closed upon all the time endless music rather than any human to respond. Upon all these I got to text them through messenger which is surprisingly active at that moment, and was giving all wrong information and being rude enough . At the end of the day I was left starving for the night and the customer service dint care to much respond rather send huge like and a good night despite I placed lot of queries. Am seriously disappointed about the whole services. and more disappointed about the reply by your staff. Food is really good and tasty and in every of their restaurants around the island, they offer a take away service which is very efficient. Today the Sliema restaurant got ready with my two food items before the stipulated time i.e 9minutes for a Pizza Ai Funghi and Tacos Chicken Supreme. Of course a big star for the very good food. My suggestion to order would be Tacos and Burgers. The one star left out could be left out or not, it is very subjective but in my case it was left out because I consider some of the delivery drivers as very dangerous making use of excessive speed. Since I am very concerned about how safe our roads are in this country I would suggest the few reckless delivery drivers, that even if they might be good drivers they are endangering the lives of the people around them. I understand that they want to be efficient with their delivery and this is very much appreciated, but I personally wouldn't endanger the safety of myself and people around me just for the sake of being efficient. Disgraceful service, disgusting food, overpriced recipe for food poisoning - ordered food that arrived late. They forgot one chicken burger from the order and when I called them the delivery people, they seemed bothered to be doing their job. Promised to deliver what they missed the first time within 5 minutes, an hour passes and nothing happens. Called the restaurant only to have so-called 'service people' struggle to find my order, refusing to even offer an apology and lacking the most basic form of human decency mandated for anyone even contemplating a role within customer care. They agreed to make another burger and send over - THE MEAT WAS RAW, not undercooked - but RAW. Also bear in mind that for delivery they will never get out of the car - company policy it seems. Delivery is too much for their ... delivery people. Bottom line - don't trust the (sponsored) overly positive reviews that use the same generic arguments with little to no explanation - stay away from this place. Much better alternatives...
