KREPREE (Sliema) — Restaurant in Sliema

Perfect dessert after a meal with a promenade walk in between. We had the strawberry and Nutella crepe and those were delicious. Like in France made right in front of you and served in a handy pointy paper bag/container. The crepe itself was a bit salty for a sweet crepe, but this was due to them using the same batter for sweet and savoury crepes.

Location is amazing next to an old watchtower and there are also some benches situated nearby that look out at an outdoor exercise/gym. If you dislike being reminded of your lack of exercise or teasing the people exercising with your snack you can also eat them while walking or further away. Right between the tower and the Krepree are also some seats, but those didn’t look too inviting to us. Then you experience more of the heat from the baking, plus there are better views around.

THE LAST TIME WE COME HERE FOR SURE!! Me and my friends ordered one savory crepes each and 1 sweet one to share. We asked politely for a plate and a knife so that we could easily split it, but the two girls of the staff refused in a very arrogant way saying that "the crepes are only sold in the cones". We insisted, in order to avoid a total mess on the table, and asking if it was a matter of price - they didn't even know what was the problem and the reason for saying no - and they carried on with their non sense and rude attitude. Me and my friend came to the shop and we waited 10 minutes just looking at the server who was doing nothing. When it came to order i quickly ordered, he made it then continued to ignore us while my friend was still trying to order (we tried to get his attention multiple times and he just ignored us?). 2 people came behind us and the server continued to serve them instead of us. Then he proceeded to make theirs, then my friend finally ordered and he just stood there for another 10 minutes before starting my friends order.
