I've been to this restaurant multiple times, but this is my first review of it. It's very good and it's in a great spot: 1st & Revolucion. Musicians approach often, which, depending on your mood, can be a burden or a Godsend. Whether it's just to have a few drinks and hire a Mariachi, a trio or a banda, or, if you want some great tasting food with excellent service, I highly recommend this place. On this visit, my son had the Fish Taco plate with a Sprite, and I had the Chilaquiles Rojos with a coffee. 10 out of 10. BTW, chips and salsa are plentiful while awaiting your food.

Nelson bar is one of my favorite bars in Tijuana. A true dive that keeps it real. A dying breed on such a busy, popular street downtown. Bar flies, locals, tired border workers, and anyone seeking a break from the loud over-crowded clubs. This is the spot. A killer music box. Snake tequila. Cool and friendly staff. And excellent tacos. Support this place. It is historic and has been kickin since 1948.

Qué puedo decir del Nelson. Ha sido un bar que ha marcado gran parte de mis 20s. Lo conocí por allá del 2019, y desde entonces no hay mes que no lo visite desde entonces. He conocido tantas personas aquí, y con seguridad puedo decir que es el bar más seguro en el que puedas estar, JAMAS he visto mala-copas (solo señores bien pdos, haha), no he visto que se peleen, ni broncas, NADA. Tiene muy buena vibra. Si vas solo, a huevo viene alguien a sacarte platica en muy buen plan y pasas un buen rato. Así que es un excelente lugar si quieres conocer gente. La rokola tiene una muy buena variedad de música, aunque siempre llegas y el clásico wey fan de Tool o Pink Floyd ya puso como 2 horas de canciones, haha. Tengo muy buenos recuerdos y pedas bien brutales aquí, pero en resumen puedo decir que es un bar con cheve y tragos variados, botanas y todo esta a precios razonables. Eso si, yo lo conocí cuando el Especial estaba en 25 pesillos, ahorita ya está en 50, haha. Así que antes con 100 pesos te ponías una pedota. Y antes si te dejaban fumar... u_u

The food was great! My boyfriend and I got cóctel de camarón and it was flavorful. My boyfriend got the Clamato and it did not taste very great. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. I got a lime margarita blended and it was sooo good !!! I will definitely come back for that. However, there was plastic in my drink. And I tried calling on of the servers but they were all busy chismeando. Shout out to our server who was doing all the work! even for other tables! I ended up not saying anything and continue drinking it carefully. When you enter you must put on hand sanitizer and they make you wait. But the servers were busy talking they did not acknowledge the guest which was very disrespectful.I will be back but service needs to change. Went on Saturday around...

The waiter recommended a margarita without explaining the ingredients. It looked disgusting and tasted like vinegar, so I told him I could not drink it. He brought me a regular margarita that was equally unimpressive.it didn’t have much alcohol and was very bland tasting. Of course they charged me for the first margarita 150 pesos even though it was not drinkable. Save your money and go to Downtown Bar one block away for a...
