2500 pesos only for 12 shrimp and a large lobster. One margarita and 2 beers for $150 dollars in usd. Slight deception, but i expected that on the price and over all the food tasted what i would expect an average seafood place.
In the states the cost would be equal but the flavor would be way better. The service was very good and the manager asked how everything was but with limited spanish it was irrelevant to even attempt to debate as no one spoke English. No a/c obviously bc it's outside so kinda warm for me but it's Cancun. I can't help but think this give place wouldn't be so empty of they didn't charge so much money and focused more on the flavor of their food.
Over all i suggest you save your money as this is Cancun you can get amazing food and drink all night for 4 people and still have money for a taxi for less than you could to eat here.
I liked that that showed you the food first that you would be ordering and then they cook it but when you are paying buy the weight and they show you medium sized headless shrimp but then what you recieve are full bodied prawns You know you they just doubled the weight on you.
Why they give me a mug with fish water and chips as a "free appetizer" is beyond me. Maybe it's a local thing but to drink fish water is not my idea of an appetizer.
They need to turn this place into a bar/dance club because that's about the cleanliness and ambiance not a 75 dollars per head expensive resteraunt. Imo.
The service was good but honestly not what you would expect at all for the price if you are from the states and have a certain level of expectations when eating at expensive...
Read moreI must say, that this restaurant has an impeccable customer service. This is the first place in Yucatan, when I felt served with detail and attention.
Amazing manager’s / owners emphasis on serving clients the way it should be everywhere. I live in England and could say, that this restaurant overrules some great UK restaurants in their customer service.
My family visited twice and the staff have done everything to impress us. It was my son’s B-day the second time and we’ve been served really well, he got a cake with candle, the staff sang him a B-day song, they have taken our picture and printed it for us straight away. All staff members are very kind, polite and well trained.
Moreover the food and deserts were really tasty. We tried tuna carpaccio, grilled octopus, paella and ceviche. Ceviche was tasty, but probably not the best I have ever had, for me it was slightly too much cloves in the marinade. But I still liked it and enjoyed it.
I’d suggest this restart to review their music list to compliment their amazing customer service. First time we didn’t notice the music, probably it was something neutral, but the second time it was a club / dancing music.
Our family left the restaurant happy and pleasantly surprised. We had a great time and great food 👌🏻

Read moreTL;DR: Great food, but the service felt forced and overly performative. Small issues added up, and the vibe shifted once we didn’t tip — which says a lot.
The food was great, but the service was far from perfect. Many people would enjoy it, but all the care felt fake and transactional.
It started off very attentively. There were a few minor hiccups — the table was unstable, and the cutlery was dirty. They fixed it and apologized with a small lemonade, which was appreciated. But then they began checking in every few minutes, totally killing the vibe. It became more annoying than welcoming. I get that some guests enjoy that much attention from waiters and managers, but they really need to learn to read the room.
We also got the wrong side dish — not a big deal, and I let it go. Still, with all these small annoyances adding up, we decided not to leave a tip. (For American readers: your system is inherently broken. Tips should be a sign of appreciation, not a substitute for fair wages.)
Once they realized we weren’t tipping, a manager jumped in, and the whole “welcoming service” suddenly felt hollow. The tone shifted, no one asked what went wrong, and it became clear: they’re nice only when they expect tips — not because it’s genuine.
So, the overall...
