Café Arábiga — Restaurant in Ensenada

Located on the corner of Calle Segunda and Ave. Blancarte across the street from the Clinica 32 IMSS, this coffee shop and restaurant is truly a hidden gem.

There is limited street parking, but well worth any walk you may need to make to arrive. When you walk in, you are transported into a welcoming, quiet and beautiful haven away from the bustle of the street. They have decorated with a unique combination of antiques, whimsical and folk art, both elegant and rustic. There are potted plants, a fountain in the patio, many display cases with jewelry for sale.

You can enjoy specialty coffees, refreshing drinks, exquisite desserts or a hearty meal in one of the multiple sitting areas, dining rooms, cozy nooks, the patio, or upstairs.

I only had a cappuccino, but I was there with a group, and I saw some of the desserts and entrees they ordered and apparently really enjoyed. My cappuccino was delicious. Prices are competitive and the portions are generous.

The table service was friendly, and though with a group the size of ours, there was opportunity for confusion, but the server got it all accurately. We had a very pleasant time, and I would certainly return if given the chance, even if just to explore and admire all the...

Agradable el lugar sin embargo si tiene algunos peros, hemos ido mi novia y yo, de hecho lo habíamos elegido para que fuera nuestro café de siempre ya que es acogedor pero en las últimas visitas que hemos ido la atención ha dejado muchísimo que desear.

Primero, hubo una vez que pedimos hot cakes en la noche y sin problema nos lo llevaron, volvimos a pedir en otra ocasión en la noche y con un rotundo solo en la mañana se hacen nos dejaron con las ganas en lugar de ver si era posible que los hicieran, si van a poner menú solo para desayuno recomiendo que hagan dos menús para saber lo que realmente se puede pedir.

Segundo, los meseros no están atentos de quienes llegan y por consiguiente se tardan muchísimo en llevar la carta y hacer el pedido, ya ha habido unas tres veces que se han tardado por lo menos 30 minutos en llevarnos la carta así que nosotros tenemos que ir a buscarla, cuando por fin se han aparecido los meseros como no tienen idea de quiénes llegaron no saben a quien atender y luego van atendiendo el último que llegó mientras puede haber otros esperando antes, les hace falta designar un mesero que esté atento de quienes llegan, quienes ya pidieron y no les han llevado sus cosas y si van a pedir otra cosa.

Si solucionan esos detalles creo que empataría el lugar con el servicio y sería...

Really disappointing experience. Awful Americano, so we requested another, still awful. Ended up with an espresso. And drinks all in a paper cup. Why have a dine in cafe with no crockery?!
