I agree 100% with Jennifer's review. And that review really influenced my decision to schedule an appointment. I chose the exfoliant, facial hydration & massage packet that they suggested and supplemented it with a deep tissue massage that they also suggested. My esthetician/therapist Carolina was incredible, awesome. While she was working on my face, I flashed back to my childhood and my mother washing my face. But Carolina was way more attentive and gentle than mama. The skin on my body has not been so smooth since I can remember. Also, the deep tissue massage, Carolina located and solved a few nagging back issues that are seemingly healed and it's been a couple days since my treatment. I have a knee that needs to be replaced, that hurts all the time. Carolina worked on the muscles around the knee and it's like magic. I've been walking around virtually pain free and not limping as much. And my body is not so crooked anymore. The short story is, I loved the neighborhood, the hospitality from the initial encounter, the great relaxing/beautiful outdoor space and the massage! The patio and fountain helped me start to calm down from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nadine was the massage therapist and she conscientiously asked and listened to my problems and then gave suggestions and still asked more questions to make sure I felt comfortable! I really appreciated it since I was hurting, but didn’t really know how to communicate the totality of it. She was super accommodating when my years of physical neglect caused my legs to cramp up during the massage and helped work them out in addition to finding other “areas of concern” on her own. She helped me get back to play competive tennis a lot easier than I thought was possible. She seemed to be quite concerned with making me better and finding some other stress points in my back that have affected my posture and performance! I’m a total massage junkie! Anywhere I go in the world I will search for certified masseuses. I took an hour long uber to the center of Guadalajara in search for a massage. Mond Massage came up and we called. They set us up with an hour-later appointment. The business is within walking distance from the cathedral, which is ideal for getting a coffee or taking pictures while we wait for the appointment. The practice is inside a business building and the receptionist had us sign in and directed us to the suite. The masseuses were ready for us at the specified time. The room temperature was perfect. They had a fan pointed towards the wall; this made the ambiance perfect. They had the beds ready and worked my body in ways that felt like it was being relieved and there was no pain. It was the ideal massage for me. I can take a massage with extreme pressure. This one fell towards the middle. She worked all the knots but didn’t use too much pressure. It was perfect for me. This is a place I will be coming back to....
