!!They served me NON food Grade Ethanol here!!! On may 24, 2024 I had my graduation party here. During the parte we were given the bottles of alcohol that we purchased beforehand and handed to the event managers. When the alcohol was recived my father told me that the bottle that I bought for him which is his favorite and drinks regularrly tasted odd and decided not to take it. I ignored his warning and drank anyway. It was a terrible mistake, after 4 cups the bottle was already finished because the waiter was takeing the bottle away from the table and serving the drink without me seeing. After those drink I blacked out and dont remember a thing. I had the worst hang over of my life on which I vomited uninteruptedly from 1pm to 4am. Aditionally the hang over lasted 3 whole days. I dont think, 4 cups should be able to do that to a 26 year old male I belive the staff of this hotel put something on my drink or the drink was manipulated from the start. Either way, the alcohol I bought was not what I drank and I felt as if I had been poissoned Update may 30, 2024 I still feel ill, the beverage I consumed here harmed my stomach very badly. I already posted here the doctor note from yesterdays visit as the symptoms havent finished fading. Im get suden rapid heart palpitations, severe headaches, Even after a week since the event I have been needing to go vomit from time to time throughout the day. I cant sleep because of the shame these pigs made me go through Update June 1st 2024. I made a formal complaint to the hotel upper management. At first the lady tried to question the validity of my claim, however she soon realized I was not lieing. She told me the hotel would contact me again to update me on what they did about my case they never did. It's officially been a week since I got poissoned here and I'm still sick. I've visited several doctors and they have all said the same thing. The most likely substance to have been consumes must have been non food grade ethanol. So to any American reading this, imagine drinking a non edible version of everclear. Update June 7 I'm finally having a break from the symptoms. My stomach is still upset but I can go along my day just fine. Today I talked again with the staff and they assured me that there were matters taken on the situation. They told me the staff was rotated and that they don't condone this sort of conduct. I'm glad they did something about it and I hope this story never repeats itself here

Legendary hotel in central CDMX. On the edge of the park with museums on its doorstep and within east walking distance of Polanco, Condesa, Roma Norte and Juarez. The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. I’ve stayed here a few times and in different levels of rooms. The Standard room is great, garden views are the best and quieter than exterior rooms. The public areas have undergone modernisation, yet this is sympathetic to its original mid century design. The architecture of this hotel is unbelievably great. Amazing touches and design all over the hotel. Breakfast is always good, but the breakfast brunch on weekends is next level. Great people watching spot and the selection of food available is wide and delicious. When I’m back in CDMX I will be back here again and loving it all over again.

Stayed here twice and both times were pleasant. Service was great, room service food is just okay. Expensive and nothing really special. First time we stayed in one of their 2-story suites and we loved the amount of space we had, especially when we have a super hyper 5 year old. We also had access to a private pool area which was reserved for guests in these suites. Very nice. However, the carpet was reallllllly dirty. My son was running all around the room with no socks on and his feet were black. We commented this to the front desk. The second time we stayed here was just a normal room, but still, very spacious. We would definitely come back and my son was super happy here and has good memories.

The holel is very nice and big. I stayed here with my family in two big bedrooms. The breakfast is great. High variety and good food. Sadly I had to pay extra for the breakfast of my children, although I already had breakfast included in both rooms… this I still dont understand… but this is not family friendly for me… In our second room sadly in the bathroom the sink did not work well, see pictures. The light in the bathroom was also defect and the connection between both rooms was very dirty as if noone has cleaned it for many years… see images. Really bad for my expectations for this hotel class and name.

El único inconveniente es que uno de los meseros fue ciertamente grosero, quizá tuvo un mal día, pues atendía con caras y de mala gana, ya era mayor.
