Beautiful beach, but beware of going in the water.
The locals will happily rent you snorkelling gear without even mentioning the jellyfish which are cut up by the the props of all the water taxies. Their tentacles then float near the surface and are very difficult to see.
I recommend wearing at minimum a long sleeve rash guard/swim shirt if you want to snorkel, but ideally you should cover as much exposed skin as possible. If you feel any stings (feels like like a localized electric shock), get out of the water immediately as you will likely get stung more.
My dad and I were stung multiple times and experienced severe allergic reactions which ruined the last few days of our trip - burning skin, strong flu symptoms (headache, body ache, runny nose and sneezing), and red chickenpox-like marks. Days later I am still experiencing delayed reactions of extreme itchiness of the sting areas.
Its not worth the risk to go snorkelling. Especially for kids or...

If you are a single woman, this is not a safe place. You should not go alone & you should never go with him. Do not do the guided snorkeling. It’s dangerous. He was very inappropriate in explicit ways I will not write here. I was terrified. Thank God I’m a strong swimmer. I can only imagine he’s so confident because it’s a pattern. Be careful. This is not safe. I swam back to the beach, filled with other men that I did not know were in in some evil thing or I could speak to. I went to the most crowded area on the highest point of the very small ‘beach’ as far away from his as possible. I had the guide who booked my ‘tour’ on WhatsApp and told her to send the boat immediately and I was there on that beach, terrified for 20 minutes waiting for the boat....

The storm messed up the coral so they're basically underwater boulders. However the fish are plentiful and varied and you can swim through schools of them. There's a vendor or two that hike out that far and will sell you beverages if you want but they aren't pushy.
You can take any number of water taxi's out there, paddle board, kayak or walk the long way around if you want. If you've never swam through a school of fish then spend a few bucks and rent some snorkel gear (or...
