My review is way overdue, but definitely want to put the good word out there for Cabo Blue Boat. My sons and I took the Cabo Blue Boat snorkeling tour during Thanksgiving week while anchored in Cabo with our Norwegian cruise. Since this wasn't a cruise sponsored excursion I had a ton of questions for Amanda. Let me say, Amanda was amazing, cool, helpful, and was in full communication with us before and right up to our trip time. The problem we had was our cruise ship was scheduled to anchor just a short time before the scheduled Blue Boat snorkel trip meet up time and we weren't sure we could make it. Basically Amanda said, do your best to get here, find me, and I'll try to get you on the boat...we could pay when we get there. Perfect! Somehow, we just barely made it, found Amanda, paid on the spot, and she took us right to the boat just before departure (since we were a little late).
The snorkel trip itself was so much fun! Me and my boys had a great time...the beers were flowing, the weather perfect, music was fun, and the water was just right! The crew was really friendly, helpful, and was happy to chat with us about Cabo, the boat, just about anything. Nice to meet the guys (sorry I forgot your names after several months!)
It was cool to see Los Arcos. There was a lot of other tour traffic there but the boat's captain made sure everyone got a good look, the crew helped folks take pictures, etc. then we were on our way to the Snorkeling spot. The trip to the spot was a nice cruise along the coast to a small cove. Once to the cove, we anchored and the crew jumped into action. You have the choice to snorkel, swim (they have rafts and flotation devices), or just hang out on the boat! Whatever you want! Amanda mentioned it was a little early in the season to see a whale, but on the return trip we saw two whales together. We stopped to check them out, again the captain made sure he turned the boat in a way that everyone could get a look.
On our way into port, everyone was having fun, music was playing, beers in hand, my boys were dancing (nobody wants to see me dance). As we passed other tour boats I could see the passengers looking longingly at our boat because they weren't having as much fun LOL! Get on the Blue Boat...you...
Read moreCabo Blue Our group had our sunset cruise scheduled before our arrival in Cabo through Viator. We reserved with Cabo Blue Boat because of the excellent reviews and of course the free open bar. When we got to our resort Cabo Azul, they tried to get us to switch over and use their provider. They kept saying that they had never heard of Cabo Blue Boat? Well some in the group started to waffle but the majority decided to stay with our original choice based on the reviews. On the afternoon of our tour our driver dropped us off at the front of what appeared to be a marina slash flea market. There really wasn’t any signage directing us to the pickup location so we just looked for the boats and walked that way. Be prepared for the walking venders to approach you every step of the way. We weren’t really interested so we politely declined. We eventually saw a guy holding a folding sign with Cabo Blue Boat on it. Processing before getting on the boat was easy. I think we needed $2 for a park fee. As we were boarding the boat one of the crew members told us that it was a little choppy out and that he recommended we sit on the rear area of the boat. We appreciated that advice because the folks on the front got the brunt of the wind. Our views from the back were just as good because they would turn the boat to make sure that everyone got the views they wanted. The rear also seemed to have more space for standup pictures. Now as for the crew ! I have never seen anyone work so hard to make sure that everyone guest was taken care of! From the captain on down to the bartenders. The views and the narration and music were top Knotch. You can be as chilled as you want or you can get up and party as much as you want. What really surprised us was the quality of the food they served. Very fresh and tastes good. The trip was safe and a lot of fun! I couldn’t see myself using any other option if I ever was...
Read moreReview of Cabo Blue I highly recommend booking with Cabo Blue! My group of nine traveled to Cabo San Lucas for my 30th birthday celebration. On February 26 our group experienced a private whale watching and snorkeling party with unlimited tasty adult beverages and shots, a delicious lunch and a very unexpected and appreciated yummy birthday cake served to us by the fantastic crew! The crew made us feel comfortable and safe, especially watching close by while we snorkeled. They offered and took so many fantastic photos and videos of our group. The captain let us connect to the speakers to play our music. We had such an amazing experience. Our group returned to Cabo Blue on February 28 for a sunset cruise with other groups. Amanda, at Cabo Blue, is fantastic!!! She hooked my group up with an area on the boat for my group to have a little separation from the rest of the people on the cruise. On that cruise while sailing nearby the beautiful arch my partner proposed onboard. It was an idyllic proposal and it the crew and captain showered us with love, congratulations, and made us once again made me and my entire group feel so special. They kept the drinks coming, offered to play specially requested songs, and once again provided an incredible party, offered and took so many photos and videos, and still stayed so attentive to other passengers and groups. Please, do yourself a favor, book Cabo Blue, communicate with Amanda and the crew, have the time of your life, and tip well! This company and all the staff deserve so much hype and appreciation. Our entire group cannot wait to return to Cabo San Lucas...
