Had a good time here, and felt welcome, but I did not find it special in any way. It is basically a restaurant/bar on the beach, not more, not less. The food menu is okay, the drinks are good and price wise a bit more expensive than the city, which was to be expected. On top, you have to pay 415 MXN just to get in the "park" - for that, you need a reservation which can be done online in seconds (see the website of El Marino). Good thing though, limited parking is free on site and the beach beds are free, as long as you spend on drinks and/or food. Coming from Europe, this is not only very strange as a concept, but a rip off - and it has nothing to do with El Marino Tulum, it's the concept that makes me think that the Mexicans in Tulum have found a pretty productive way to rip tourists off of their money. To be more precise: in total, I spent approximately 50 € for a day at the beach, just for a couple of drinks and a snack. Would have been way cheaper in Spain, Italy or Greece. And the beach would have been definitely a lot nicer. Again: my review reflects the whole experience, not just El Marino Tulum.

You’re going to have a really hard time finding a better beach club in Tulum. We searched all week and ended up back here 3 days. Service is completely top shelf, cocktails are on point and 2 for 1 before 2pm, food menu is really well put together, beach is great, day bed and lounging options all have umbrellas and are very clean, and even with the entrance fee to the park this place beats the value of a lot of options outside of park. Highly, highly recommend.

El Marino Tulum is a nice beach club with a relaxed atmosphere. The squid 🐙 rice was something that was liked. I thought the mini burgers were cooked a bit too much however the fresh lemonade was delicious. Nice day chilling here enjoying the beach. I do wish they did a better job picking up the seaweeds tho as it was VERY hard to get past them to get to the ocean.

“An incredible experience! This beach club is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the paradise that is Tulum. The staff was outstanding—always attentive and welcoming with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, making it ideal for spending the day on their comfortable beds overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The food exceeded our expectations, with fresh and delicious options, especially the seafood and tropical cocktails. The sunset was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day. Definitely a place I highly recommend and will return to on my next trip to...
