Playa Paraiso is a beach club in tulum. You should arrive before noon to get a place. I got here at 1pm and the only reason they let us in was because we had family here already. I rented a bed with a table and 2 chairs for 250 pesos or about 15 dollars. I ordered a molcajete for two for 15 dollars or 300 pesos. It had chicken beef and shrimp fajitas pico de gallo beans guacamole and tortillas. A coke for 2 bucks and a strawberry smoothie for 3 bucks. The food was delicious and afordable. The beach is incredible. I would say the most beautiful in the Riviera Maya. The ocean is almost like a swimming pool and this place was missed by the hurricane wilma so theres no coral in the ocean or rocks like cozumel. I would compare it to the great beaches of isla mujeres. They had live sax music and nfl football in the restaurant. My wife bought some beautiful jewelry handmade for 20 bucks at a stand. The staff was fantastic very friendly and helpful. The sand is the softest in the riviera maya. Please click helpful if you found it helpful to help me make better reviews and check out my photos.

There is a reason that this is listed among the very best beaches in Mexico - fantastic sand and water. You could go early and stay free of charge at the public beach area and find a shadow spot for yourself and your towel. We paid 500 pesos for a set of sun beds. Full lounge beds cost the same and there is no minimum spend on food and drinks (as of late March 2024). They do charge parking if you can’t show a restaurant receipt. Food is good, without being original. It’s a bit pricey but less so than at southern beach clubs. A lot of people arrive during lunch hours but there is loads of space compared to clubs further south and it never felt crowded (even as we were visiting on a Friday at beginning of Easter holiday). The place is within the national park so there is a small fee to access for adults(around 60’pesos) and if coming by car you better come early to avoid waiting at the park entrance for inspection and ticket sales). But all in all a superb beach and club that we hope to visit again

I give three stars for the crystal clear water and fine white sand. The name of this beach needs to be changed to the ROTTEN AND Foul-Smelling Algae MOUNTAINS BEACH. The Mexican government imposes a fee of 12 dollars per person in each hotel when you check in to clean the beaches of this algae. This is a theft against tourists because the money goes into their pockets and those of the hotel. The money is taken and the beaches are covered with mountains of seaweed, the smell being unbearable. The locals who have bars on the beach and they want to get as much money out of your pocket as possible, but they also do nothing to clean the area where they have restaurants. It's a shame that they don't take care and are very stinky, Nature gave them the opportunity to have such a wonder, but the locals stay in the shade of the palm tree. I don't recommend going all the way there (it's quite far and expensive) just to come in contact with the foul smell, the fine sand mixed with dried dead seaweed and the water struggling against the mountains of seaweed and changing its color to a dark brown like from the toilet. Shame on the Mexican government, Shame on the locals who want to get rich on the backs of nature and they do nothing. I have been to Mexico many times but this year convinced me not to return, I spent the money for nothing and endured many tiring hours to spend my vacation in optimal conditions, in Mexico there are no conditions of any kind. Adiós México, Hasta la próxima Cuba or Thailand.

***NOTE: This is the CORRECT location/pin for the Playa Paraiso beach club. Other pins refer to the general beach area, which is also known as Playa Paraiso. My boyfriend and I arrived at Playa Paraiso around 10am after visiting the Mayan Ruins. It was an easy and relatively shaded 15 minute walk from the ruins. Basic loungers cost $200 pesos/person and were well worth it, considering that we had a first row view of the beach as well as excellent and attentive service from all of the staff. This fee also provides access to the showers and restrooms. The food was relatively good and the drinks were delicious…you MUST try the piña colada!!! ⭐️🍍 All in all, Playa Pariso is a very affordable beach club on the North Beach and we would definitely visit again. The sargasso (seaweed) was hardly noticeable on this part of the beach.

Arrived at opening and was able to park there which was very convenient. Had the pick of spots to lay out on the beach. The beach and water was filled with sea grass washing in which smells and is not fun to swim in - it’s an ongoing issue along the coastline. Beverages were meh. Bloody Mary was purple and sweet. Pina Colada was served half full and looked liked chalky water - NO ice. Both drinks had a hint (if that) of alcohol. I ordered an Aperol Spritz to be safe. Also meh, mostly Aperol and seltzer. Had the shrimp tacos for lunch and the shrimp was tough, overcooked, and dry. The place is under construction and they had workers in the female restroom and there was jackhammering all around the restaurant. If it wasn’t for our waiter Carlos and the pure beauty of the spot, it would be two stars.

Second beach I visited during my stay in Tulum. It was so much fun! My bestfriends and I got there around 11:30am on a Monday to get into the beach club..two days before it was packed & we weren’t allowed in. We were able to get chairs and tables so we could hangout and enjoy the beach club. The food was an 8/10. My fav dish def. had to be their grilled shrimp tacos & passion fruit margaritas were pretty good just needed a bit more tequila. The water and waves were just right and their service was good as well. Many vendors selling beautiful bathing diff styles of bathing suits & cups of mango! We stayed watching the sun go down, it was so beautiful and relaxing!
