Don't let the signs or locals trying to charge you entrance deter this - this place is super cool and such a nice change of pace from the rest of Yangon. It's like a post-apocalyptic dream. As far as we could tell, there were two entry points (we entered through a point on the south and exited towards the west), but both require some fence climbing. One is pretty obvious because the fence is giant and red - the bottom is closed up pretty well but you can climb over. Awesome for some epic photo ops and escaping the crowds. If you're brave enough, you can also climb the old stairs of the rollercoaster which gives you an amazing view of the park. Bring bug spray and watch...
Read moreWent here today 17/2 gained access from what looked like a bus depot on the left hand corner of the road, we walked up and a local guy didn’t say anything but pointed and there was a little opening to get it, we walked around and this was creepy! We were the only ones in there and you can hear all the crows really does feel like a horror movie, we also had one scary looking dog climb out and start barking at us but luckily think he just got scared and left us.
