I don't want to believe a casino that probably makes tens of thousands of dollars a night would con someone out of $25 but I would suggest you be extra careful when exchanging your chips here.
Waited in unnecessarily long line to cash in my chips at the end of the night because they reduced the exchange personnel to one person at closing, then got chased down out of the restroom because they supposedly realized they messed up the chip count by a measley $25 and had to check the security tape. Kept me after midnight closing for 20 minutes to correct their own error even after I offered to give them the $25 difference.
Frankly I'm more than a little suspicious about the way this was handled. We were in agreement about the total at the initial exchange, and they handed me the amount of cash I expected. Then after they flagged me down later, they insisted that the amount of chips I gave them was actually $25 less. I disagreed with them but was forced to wait around while they supposedly checked the tapes (which I never saw) and supposedly confirmed the count. I offered several times during this long and humiliating wait to give them the $25 difference so I could go back to my hotel. But I was still kept there 20 minutes past closing.
Unbelievable and humiliating to be treated like a criminal over $25. Staff was nice overall and I pity them for having to work under what must be some incredibly penny pinching policies. Will have fun...
Read moreI am not a gambler, but had the best evening here tonight playing backgammon & roulette. The staff were amazing. I was there on my own and they really looked after me. As so often in Casinos you are enjoying yourself and have no idea what the time is.
HOWEVER at the end of the evening. ( wish I had got his name) The "SECURITY GUARD" came up to me I was still chatting to the staff and having a laugh with them. And he told me to "GET OUT WE'RE SHUT" . I left immediately and as I walked past him told him he had been very rude to me and that was unacceptable. He replied "Yes so what, get out"
So you little weasel. No gallant man would let a lady walk alone in a strange country through an arcade and over a dark road on her own..Just as well I am 5"9 and can look after myself. Me thinks SHORT MAN SYNDROME.
The staff there were incredibly friendly and very patient with a non-gambler. They even offered to get mde a Golf buggy home, to make sure I was safe. Thank you so much guys. Will see you again in Oct.

Read moreI recently visited this casino and was extremely disappointed. The entire place feels outdated and poorly maintained — from the decor to the gaming machines, everything looks like it hasn’t been updated in years. Even worse was the attitude of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was met with indifference and unprofessionalism. The table dealers in particular, “Tony”, and others were rude and dismissive, making the experience uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. With so many better options available, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a fun or welcoming casino experience. The casino at the Ritz is definitely a better option for those who...
