Wanted to park my car and charge while at LegoLand Center. Drove in and quickly discovered the four places with charging points were taken. Not a problem, I’ll find somewhere else to park. Hmm, the exit wants me to pay. Okay. I’ll hit the help button. I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding.

What I was met with was absolutely disgusting customer service. Firstly the gentlemen could see that I was there and when I entered but then told me that I was lying about being there for the time I was. Then he told me that if he believed my “story” he’d be letting people through all day.

Then he told me to “Wallah, try these things back in the UK.” I’m not even from the UK. I’m from the complete other side of the globe. At least be accurate with your racism.

We went back a fourth a bit before this but this last racist remark made it clear nothing will change. So I paid the €2.80 and left. Who cares about the money? It’s the principle that matters.

I’m not sure what has let this organisation down, is it training? Technology? Culture? Either way a bitterly...
