The lighting upgrades make it nicer in the evening.  • Attend events: being a popular open reserve, it hosts events (e.g. summer, music, sports).

Mission bay is really great destination for a day/night out. Not only do you have a variety of brilliant restaurants and cafe's, but you also have the beach! This place is for almost anyone who like to have a good time. Its great for kids during the day. There's 2 large playgrounds which im sure they will enjoy! There's the beach where you have an amazing view of Rangitoto. And there's Also a bunch of food options that kids would enjoy. Places like Kiwiyo! Not only is this place beautiful during the day, but its even better at night. mission bay is a great place to go for a date or a night out with lads/gals. Getting close parking is a little difficult as there is no assigned parking space for mission bay (except for whats infront of stores)but youll be sure to find parking space on a street nearby, and the walk to mission will be a gorgeous...
