I stopped by the Mission Bay branch around 3pm today to order coffee. I ordered using a free coupon I had but was very disappointed with the staff's attitude. The staff said that the stamps on my card looked as if they had been stamped all at once, so he could not provide me with a free drink. When I said I didn't understand, he simulated stamping coupons one after another, asked me where I got the stamps from, and treated it as if I had stamped fake ones. He said he couldn't give me a free coffee, but instead could just give me a stamp for today's order, and said to me to use the free coupon at the other branch where I usually come. After that he put a blue stamp on the card without my consent.
I was very uncomfortable with this situation and did not understand why I had to be treated this way, so I cancelled my order and left. I think the staff didn't want to provide free coffee, but it was difficult to say directly, so he gave this ridiculous reason. If the staff had honestly asked me to understand that it is difficult to use free coupons here, I would have gladly accepted and order it with payment. Even though I used the services provided by Coffee Club as a customer, I was treated like a fraud by the staff, which destroyed the trust in the entire Coffee Club brand.

Read moreI realized that the almond milk was sweetened, so I went back into the store and explained my situation to the manager(?). I asked, “Do you have any unsweetened almond milk?” However, the manager responded, “All Coffee Club stores use sweetened almond milk. Aren’t you a VIP member? How could you not know that?” I was treated as if my VIP membership card didn’t belong to me.
Does any VIP member know exactly what type of milk is used? Such a remark is extremely disappointing.
Moreover, when I testified that the milk foam splashed when the cup was slammed, they claimed there was no evidence, so it didn’t happen. I find this response extremely unpleasant. How could anyone slam a takeaway cup in front of a customer, causing foam to spill over? And now, saying it didn’t happen because there’s no evidence? This suggests a severe lack of character.
So, are they implying that I am lying? This is extremely offensive and upsetting. And also, a simple apology and a willingness to learn would have been enough, but I was again disappointed with the stubborn attitude displayed towards customers.
Teach the manager and staff to have proper character. If these employees continue to work without change, I am certain there will be more victims. Please teach them to work with integrity and proper values. Thank you...
Read moreBeen to many Coffee Clubs but this one was a big let down in every which way. We were asked to order scanning the QR code which was not an issue only we were not informed we could go to the counter order and pay for which many others did. Ordered for a kids meal and then 2 burgers and drinks and the order we were served was drinks and burgers then had to ask for the kids meal so much for common sense. Went to get water and found no glasses so went to the counter and there the guy wasn’t impressed and asked how many glasses do u need do he tells me to take the only glass left and will get more and this waiting went for a long time till the lady from our next table also asked for glasses. After that the food arrived and we were not told which one is what and were given set of 2 forks 1 knife and 2 serviettes and had to remind the staff that we were 3 of us so enough cutlery was required. The worst was we were asked if we would like to pay tips which surprised me as everything from ordering to getting water was done by us and only thing they did was cook n serve and further the meals were not great so ended up leaving most of it
In all a disgusting customer service and experience and will never be back at this mission bay coffee club hence no stars...
