If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited an hour for fish and chips last night. Ordered online and the time said we could pick up within half an hour. Arrived to pick up the order and the server was incredibly rude asking about my order number which I gave to him. Was told it would take another 10 minutes which was fine but when I returned I waited an additional half an hour for my food. Over an hour waiting for fish and chips is absolutely ridiculous. As I was watching I only saw one of the staff really doing any work. Customers were being ignored who were standing at the counter and when questioned about the wait time they were incredibly defensive. After about an hour of waiting I asked the server again how much longer and his response was “Mam!! The real magic of fish and chips is the light and crispy batter with a hint of beer flavor, which was completely missing here. The chips were thin and limp, more like fries from the supermarket freezer aisle than the thick potato chips they should be. Overall, the meal left me feeling unsatisfied, a far cry from the hearty and delicious fish and chips I usually enjoy. The fish and chips is not worth the $17-$24.

Asked for order by name but was told the system was down and they hadn’t been able to get an outside line to confirm the order. I placed a new order and, when it was ready, paid for it and took it home to my daughter. Around 30 mins later she received a call to say her order was ready and when was she picking it up? After an over-aggressive conversation with the franchise’s owner she passed the phone to me. I have never experienced such appalling and aggressive “customer service”. All my explanations were lies and I had not mentioned an online order. In the end he implied he would refund the additional charge but it never happened. Christ, it’s only fish and chips!
