Found this spot accidentally on a late afternoon walk after work. Really well laid out and nicely maintained with numerous exercise options for the kids at the nearby skate park. Never knew about the historical structures that used to be located here until today. Really recommend getting out there to all Aucklanders...

The easy walking tracks and the historic items in the heritage area, like the old iron tannery boiler are well worth the visit. It's an interesting part of West Aucklands history and pretty cool that it's still there. Go...
