Waterview Reserve (Oakley Park) — Attraction in Albert-Eden

This park was not well planned out. All the kids activities are squashed into 1 corner of this big field. Swings slides sand pit scooter road are all in 1 small area, when a child is using the scooter road they need to be careful of kids running between activities. There is a basketball court that could do with 2 more hoops as there is space for them unlike the park area. There is also 2 skate/bike which are bigger than the park and a sand volleyball Court. And the parking is poor and dangerous if you have to park on the road be careful unloading the kids. 4 stars because there's no changing tables for our babies in the toilets. Beautiful spot , definitely can tell it gets packed throughout summer. ALOT of field for a game of rugby, soccer or bat down. Great place to tire the kids out that has abit of everything.

Features BBQs, volleyball court (sand), basketball court (also has netball hoops) & two skatepark for those interested. Splash pad was the kids favorite spot.

Also found its not too far too walk too the Oakley creek waterfall (18-20minutes) There are other walkways from the park. Less than 2km from Pt. Chevalier. Worth the visit. Take a packed lunch & plenty too drink cause the shops out there aren't cheap LOL On the other hand supermarket , kfc...

Was a really good place to take your family, it has a little water park as well as a playground for children of all ages. Suitable for families and friends to get together and stay for a few hours. Does have cover but limited. This place has public toilets which are unisex. There is also a volleyball net on sand as if you were playing beach volley and also a full basketball court to shoot some hoops or friends to play a game. There's a skate and bike track as well for kids to ride around and plenty of grass area for you to play games or just set up a gazebo and chill out for the day.
