The Rainbow Path — Attraction in Albert-Eden

Look out for the Whau plant on the side of the Rainbow Path - often has spiky, brown seed pods and sometimes pretty, white flowers. Whau was once a dominant plant in the area (Maungawhau is Mt Eden). You are also passing the old Whau mental asylum on the left of this photo and you may be even able to see the Whau river to the west. It is a shared path bikes walking running etc..it is painted rainbow colors on the path which is not that long..needs a paint over Popular pathway watchout when taling selfies like I did you could get...

Not a long section of rainbow and probably could do with some repairing here and there but still wonderful...
