Upper Riccarton Community and School Library — Attraction in Christchurch

I don't want pass racist comment or am not a racist but in this situation I have to say that highly rude and errogant asian lady on the counter... Our regular library is at Barrington, First time used this Upper-riccarton library as my sons football practice is on that area and he wanted to return the books there after practice and collect the new one . While returning, one of the book's 2 pages had some pen writing (dont know where it is from, issued like that or happen from our side) and other book have a loose page can be fixable. But lady on the counter fined us $80, straight for damage/loss. I told her that my son can't do that even he is not acceptig ,doing that. Doesn't want to listen, just rudely snached the book away from my hand. Later when I have discussed this matter to lady from Barrington library while I was paying the fine, she told me that It is very unfair and rude. She was totally sympathise on this matter. They can look it and check whether it has intentional damage or gradual depreciation. But books are since already taken they can't do anything at...

Encountered with a very rude staff woman who accused me that I want to keep the books forever. I never said that as there were two other staff members besides this blonde rude staff. I told her not to put words in my mouth. She is accusing me of stealing and cheating. :(((((( I was treated shamefully, intimidated by them. When I asked about the Justice of Peace the accuser staff member rudely replied "I dont work here everyday so I dont know". I am appalled with her stinking attitude and hostility and accusations on me.
