Church Corner Meats & Fish — Local services in Christchurch

7 Nov 2024 - update: the two other businesses have relocated to other places. Now only the butcher shop. Also, they are now accepting credit card payment and paywave but both come with a surcharge.

March 2019 - this is one of two Chinese operated butchery stores in Church Corner. The other one is Avonhead Quality Meats inside Church Corner Mall while this store is located inside West Plaza.

I have been coming here for many years (as well as Avonhead Quality Meats) as their meats are fresh and reasonable priced compared to the supermarkets and other local butchers. They sell mostly poultry, beef and pork, and they sometimes sell duck and pig blood curds.

Also inside this store, there are two other businesses; one is selling Chinese buns (variety of flavours) and the other one is selling roast and BBQ pork and duck.

All the businesses accept cash and EFTPOS debit card payment. They do not accept credit card payment and only the Chinese bun business has paywave while the other two businesses do not have it. This information is for those who want to know.

Parking 🅿️ at this site is always a problem as it is always full. I recommend that you come here before 1130 am, or after 230 pm.
