I believe it's by far one of the best places I can go for a swim every summer when I have a holiday at Takapuna, and it's also very scenic and it has a great view across to Rangitoto Island, and it's also one of the best places to go for a dip during summer, it doesn't have Changing sheds, but I also know that it is a wonderful spot to swim and have a good laze in the sun, and spend some good quality beach time...

Been many times, one of the best beaches close to central auckland imo. but went the other day and its such a shame there is so much rubbish's in the water.... take it...
