Not bad, I went there ten years ago with a local friend who reccomended it for its chinese. I popped in there tonight and got chips and burgers.

Like others have mentioned the food is not greasy. The Kumara chips were quite good, potato chips a little under cooked, but basicly ok. The burgers were well put together and not sloppy, ingredient quality pretty standard chip shop grade, chicken burger was bits rather than a cut. I didnt notice any beetroot or tomato though. Hot dogs were passable.

Over all the place was clean and maintained well enough. Good to see that it is still at a reliable standard, pretty fast service too. Id refer people to it and go back...

We are locals who used to come here often when families visit, 2023 Jan to Oct food was amazing, cooked nicely with great portions and friendly service. From Nov 2023 to date fried food is always burnt, oily and this has happened 3x, the egg foo yong actually had burnt pieces in it!! Sadly we won't be back. You guys should take these reviews into account because I'm sure this does impact the volume of customers you used to get. Change your oil and take care with the cook timing and return back to the amazing food you used to produce. It's sad to write a review like this, but people need to know. We have lived in pukete for over 30 years and never had any issues with this place until the other day my mother ordered dinner got home and it was burnt! She rung them they told her to go in. She went in couple days later ( as they were shut on the monday) And the lady was rude! Didn't want to give her money back!! She then gave mum some money back ( after the husband trying to ask her to give money back and after lady going off for a while) and she then told mum not to come back!! Disgusting and rude behavior.
