This store deserves a 1 star only because there isn't an option for zero. This is all based on one staff members customer service skills .
Had a HORRIBLE experience.
Let me start with a good experience with Rachel and another staff member. I don't know his name, but he was an Asian man who was the manager yesterday, Friday 18th January 2024, during Rachel's shift .
I purchased a prezzy card on Thursday, which was hell from the start which wasn't my fault it was on their end system whatever. And I'm not one to complain I worked in retail for over 15 years so I know the system is a pain. But $500 is alot to lose and I'm not one to complain even though we live in papakura which is far from sylvia park to have to come multiple times over 2 days. So these two were incredible in doing everything possible to help . They needed a higher manager to approve the refund etc which again fine no worries we couldn't wait so we said call us and we will come back ( we had things to do out west) got call back then went back around 8ish . And got served by TAJ . When I say I have never felt so angry even though I kept calm as I know retail has it's toll on people BUT ! I was made like it was my fault, I was made to feel absolutely stupid and just the way he looked at me and spoke to me was unacceptable! I have never been treated so poorly and in a rude manner. This definitely isn't a role he should be working in if he isn't happy to work there. Customer service is the main thing in retail ! Read moreI genuinely hope Bella should be rewarded for the effort she puts in to her job & the counters operating. I can't believe how young she is & had the crazy counters all in control, so many returns came in all at once, I Thoroughly observed her actions. With that amount of pressure being on her own with approximately 40-50 customers at the counter not including the ones queuing up, anyone can have break down then & there, I watched her go from one counter to another, at the same time dealing with a huge amount of returns, not once would you have seen her roll her eyes, or tired of serving many different queries. She asked Roshil for help & he immediately refused Bella with an attitude despite seeing how hectic it is was at the counters. After being served we walked off with our shopping, and find Roshil smashing trolleys carelessly at the entrance not busy at all. Quite disappointed to see staff members (bella) needing a hand with controlling the counters yet others are just killing time acting busy smashing trolleys trying to keep his makeup intact. Bella should be acknowledged for her hard work she puts in to kmart other companies would love to hire her & her commitment withwith everything she does. I have been to many kmarts & Bella is one staff member that has caught my eye. She deserves a promotion!! If Roshil holds a title of being a supervisor, then based on my observation he should be demoted. Not setting an example for staff members by being lazy. Well done Bella! You will...

We came from a 30 minute drive excepting the product we were looking for, was greeted by a lovely lady who told us to go to talk to customer service representative . Then when we asked her she was giving us dirty looks, giving us attitude. Then she told us to look for the product again. So there we were on our hands and knees searching… Obviously couldn't find it. Then went back over and AGAIN giving us ridiculous attitude, rolling her eyes and giving us passive aggressive answers. She told us to go back, and these three lovely people came to help and look in the back… AND THEN FINALLY SHE COMES ANS HELPS US TO LOOK! (p.s she couldn't help us look before she couldnt leave the checkouts empty but then she did as soon as it was her break, so i dont get that). AND PUT IN MINIAL EFFORT.
