Kiwi Grill Sylvia Park Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Avoid. Overpriced. Bland. Reheated. Overcooked. Poor service.

Customer service is non existent here. Placed my order with the Indian lady and she seemed disinterested in wanting to be there. Took my buzzer and sat down. A few minutes later my order was ready so I went up to collect. Got to the collection area and was ignored by the two who were on the grill - even though they saw me - zero acknowledgment as their argument about when to flip the chicken was more important. The same Indian lady also walked over to the pickup station, looked at me waiting, and then looked down to do something else until I put the buzzer on the glass cabinet so she could hear the annoying beep and vibration. Eventually she took it and then gestured/glanced over to the two “cooks” who were still arguing over when to turn the chicken.

Pasta was bland and Luke warm. Definitely do not order if you’re after a hot meal here. It wasn’t as creamy as it looked, and the sauce was watery with way too many mushrooms. The chicken was over cooked and dry.

Garlic bread served was soggy. They’re actually “toasted” burger buns, and are certainly not worth the expensive price tag.

This is my worst food and dinning experience in my life time in New Zealand. They should be awarded for worst customer service and food. My meal was undercook and when I requested to the staff, they tried to avoid me and attending to other customer, but I was staying Infront of them. Finally I took the step up and call again one of there staff and compaint about the food. The guy was just ignoring my words and explaining our food is really good. it never happened. So I told him, it could be your food is best in the town but this time for me is undercook. Even I offered them I don't mind if they will fix the same steak but he refused to doand didn't even offer the new one. At the end that staff said this is the way how we cook and if I wanna to make it again they pay again and he did not even gave my money back. I can't eat that undercook because of health and safety. Disappointing Experience at Kiwi Grill, Sylvia Park

I recently visited Kiwi Grill at Sylvia Park and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The staff attitude was notably poor, and it seemed as though they had difficulty understanding our order. I found myself having to repeat the order items multiple times, which was quite frustrating. To top it off, at the end of the transaction, the staff member simply tossed the order ready buzzer our way.

It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of basic customer service and common decency. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. I hope that Kiwi Grill takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their staff's attitude towards customers.
