Very comfortable and cozy little venue. the stage was accommodating and seated roughly 80-100 people comfortably. The customer service was on point out of the six people working behind the bar only one person was qualified to manage the drinks. Plenty of house wines to select from which are local or near local from wolf creek, Oyster Bay just to name a few. Seating at the front was minimal but there is an upstairs lounge that can host more people. A good place to come a chill with the partner or friends Wheelchair access is available around the side 😊😊 Currently at the time of this post the BATS is hosting The NZ comedy festival and we (partner and I) had the privilege of watching Abby Howells (Taskmaster NZ) perform and she was just hilarious. Five stars!!

My husband and I went there to watch the improvised drama performance and it was brilliant!! Despite that the theater is a little tiny and crowded given so many people attending this show, it's an excellent experience being here. Staff are nice and kind. Thanks Mahua for performing in Wellington!

Amazing theatre. Came here yesterday to watch the puppet show Flutter. I really enjoyed the show. Such a wonderful theatre with lovely staff. This was my first time visiting, will definitely return again.

Small, charming and lovely staff. I visited tonight for INPATIENT by Sarah R. Snacks and drinks were well priced with $2 lolly bags and my mocktail was $7.50. Mocktails were canned but plentiful - I wasn't expecting so much choice! I settled on a peach bellini which was perfect aside from being sugar free (give me the sugar please!)

The interior on each level is gorgeous, the seating in the theater I sat in was comfortable enough for a 90 minute show.

The show itself was of course fantastic. Filled with humour surrounding some very harsh and very real circumstances of life. I teared up at several points, cackled at several more!

The staff are casual and friendly, I felt very welcome. Two AC units for the small theater I was in were perfect for temperature control. Not so many bells and whistles in the room, yet the lighting really worked fantastically.

Overall, throughly enjoyed my visit and...

Great show last weekend. Entertaining. The performers alongside the audience were electric and fulll of life! Prior to the show my friend asked if they sell hot drinks at the bar/beverage area. The response was a little standoff and less than responsive. Also, another staff member stopped me from using the restroom as I hadn't shown a ticket but responded that my friend has our tickets. Her response was "Everyone wants to go there! Why!" . . Well sorry you serve drinks and people require the bathroom lol. Great show. But not so much the staff. No big deal but this all adds to the experience...
