Lumino Queens Drive | Lumino The Dentists — Attraction in North Island

This complaint is written in retrospect as I realised I did not make a complaint at the time. I had been a customer at this dental clinic for years and made an appointment to see the dental hygienist 6 months in advance. A week before my appointment I got an email saying that the Hygienist wanted to reduce her hour so the day and time of my appointment had changed. I quickly replied to the email saying that I had already requested the time off work to make the first appointment and I could not change my shifts around again at such short notice. The lady stated that there had only been a change in the TIME of the appointment, not the day and sent me through another email with the amended appointment time. I arrived on day of my appointment, told my name and time of my appointment to the receptionist to which she replied with a very rude, very petty 'no'....and that's it. My interactions with the receptionist lasted about 10min, during which time she was very rude and did not seem to believe that I had been in contact with someone who told me my appointment was on the same day, but at a different time. She continued to state that I had gotten it all wrong, until she FINALLY look at her emails and saw that I had in fact been told to be there at the time and date I arrived. She did not apologise and went on to say the next available appointment was in three months, I left and got appointment with with very well established dental hygienist that day. I had an appt today at Queens drive Lumino and can I just say, it was the best experience I have ever had. From the lovely lady at the reception desk to the Dentist and his two helpers (sorry I forgot the names). Everyone was so welcoming, warm and inviting! I was greeted at reception by the lady there with “Hi Hannah, thank you for coming to see us today” even though it was my first time and i hadnt introduced myself yet! Lumino dental in queens drive lower hutt is truly recommended. I was trying to book an appointment online and there is no available but i decided to call and Ms. Dhapne Baliwag is very helpful to find a space available for my husband to have a check up in the end my husband did his extraction on the same day, how amazing all the staff in Lumino lower hutt, i will recommend them to whom ever have a dental problem thats so hard to find an appointment....
