DJ4You Auckland Limited — Attraction in Puketāpapa

We hired a DJ4You DJ for our wedding in December. They sent us a form to fill out with all the songs we wanted and didn't want. My wife and I laboured over a few Spotify playlists, and indicated that they should be played during dinner and dancing respectively. We also requested the DJ to reach out to us before the event to discuss. The DJ didn't contact us, and didn't introduce himself to us at the wedding either. The ceremony music was fine. During dinner he played from our playlist, but about halfway through the playlist he started playing other music, our planner asked him to play off the playlist for us, and he started the list over from the beginning, so we missed a bunch of songs my wife chose, and so many songs were repeated. I wish he had shuffled the playlist or something. First dance was fine, and after the first dance he played a single song from our dancing playlist, but then immediately switched to playing 70s hits for the next hour or so.. Nowhere on the form we filled out did we want or ask for 70s music to be played. We didn't want to dance to the music at our own wedding. We loved everything else about our wedding, but this DJ was a huge letdown. Music was such an important part and we spent so much time together choosing songs that never were played. We engaged DJ4You who linked us up with Lana Fia to perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ Len to provide music for our reception. Jan was so helpful in answering all of our queries and making the process as smooth as possible.

Best decision to have Lana Fia sing for us at our wedding - she sung a magical version of Fools Rush in as I walked down the aisle, before beautifully entertaining our guests during the cocktail hour. Lana's music is something else and her being such a beautiful person made our day that much more special. Lana reached out leading up to our wedding and made sure she knew how we wanted everything which was so reassuring in the midst everything leading up to the day. Highly recommend! We had Josh as our DJ a few days ago for our wedding day. Josh provided an amazing service for us - he was there on our arrival, welcomed us, and was very accommodating to our guests. Not only did he provide an amazing DJ service but he also was a great emcee - the programs flowed to how we wanted it; Josh catered it very well on how we wanted our wedding to go, hence why it was indeed the best day of our lives, there was no “if only we had done this…”.

Also big thank you to Jan who was punctual with getting back to me and ensured everything passed on well with NO MISCOMMUNICATIONS. Thank youuuu!!!

With that being said, we highly recommend Josh and DJ4You to be the emcee and DJ for your special occasions. Top quality service, friendly people, fast and punctual response and affordable price :)
