We had a great stay over 4 nights. The weather was perfect, so we did not need to use any heating or cooling. It had the basic's like you would have at cheaper accommodation. Tea coffee sugar and milk. A few tablets for the dishwasher. ect My only complaint was the main shower. There was something wrong with the pressure and getting the hot water to run. I don't know if it was just the tap, but it took me 5 minutes to get the water to run at a decent pressure and to warm up. Having to stand next to the wall to get wet, is a little annoying considering how big the shower is! The tissues supplied were like sandpaper! The toilet paper was softer. For the money you pay, a better quality is expected. The views were nice and we were away from the road, but we had a smoker next door and his smoke was coming into our unit. We also had a lady do yoga in front of our Unit, so there were times when our privacy was interrupted by the other guests, as there is a common area along the front. There is a very steep hill to climb if you walk into town. You cant do a quick run down and back without reasonable fitness level, or a car. Other than that waking up to the fantastic...
Read moreBy far the nicest place we stayed at while in the South Island. I felt so at home like I lived there and that made a huge difference. Easy check in and early check out. Each villa comes with your own garage with wireless entry. Each villa comes with a large council rubbish bin so that’s extremely helpful! The quality of each villa is the highest of building quality with large wooden staircases self locking entry doors and modern amenities. There are excellent complimentary items including 2 milks in the fridge, luxury coffee and hot drink options as well as chocolates and soaps. Our villa had a modern kitchen with all the appliances and cutlery needed. There was a large open plan ground floor with a dining and living area that led to Constantina doors that opened to the nicest view. Behind the villas was a nice walking track near a bubbling river. Upstairs boasted a laundry area, 2 bedrooms with Built in Robes and a bathroom. The master bedroom included a large BIR, master bath and a private balcony. Robes and towels provided but do keep in mind the place was self service. For the price it was an excellent choice that we will choose every...

We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay as it was our first time in Queenstown. The villa was luxuriously equiped in every aspect. We mostly enjoyed the fire place which helped with those cold rainy days and the tranquillity of the gardens outsside the villa. With 3 kids we needed all the tranquillity and space we could get and Platinum villas didnt disapoint.
