Saint Omer Park is located on the far end of town past the Steamer Wharf towards Glenorchy. The park starts just after the Steamer Wharf and goes up to the One Mile Carpark by the roundabout. The park is located on the lake side of the road and has beautiful views towards Lake Wakatipu. There are a couple of public BBQs in the area as well as a small playground. There is also a toilet on the carpark side of the park. It does give a nice and different view of the area from the main town area. It is a nice place to take a walk while enjoying the views.

One of the best spots in picturesque Queenstown 😍 I typically go to the opposite side of the lake (Queenstown beach), and I’m so glad I had the chance to stay in this area before heading back home. There were less people here and the park offered a different view/angle of Lake Wakatipu and the glorious mountain backdrop of the South Island. Sat on one of the benches scattered along the park and just took the serene beauty in. It was so relaxing and peaceful, perfect end to a short vacation! ❤️

A lovely place to walk and take in the sunset at Queenstown. You can usually find a parking spot in the small car park, or along the road, at the end. Then walk back towards the town. Take some bread crumbs to feed the ducks and soak up the last rays of sun that set The Remarkables ablaze.
