What an experience that we never saw coming traveling onboard of the 105 year old coal fired steamship.We loved every moment of it as we did the 6pm-10pm trip with a Gourmet BBQ buffet dinner over coals at Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant and a farm demonstration on Walter Peak Farm.
The TSS Earnslaw has earned its place in history and still in service today powered by man, coal and steam. The engine room is in perfect view of the passers onboard from the 2nd deck and even more can be assessed from the 1st deck so you can experience the steam and hard work of the stokers for your self.
The Walter Peak Farm with its pristine beauty is the person backdrop for the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant that served mouth watering food and meat prepared perfectly over hot coals taking the flavor to the next level.
