Well, where do I start? With less than 24 hour notice I was told to get on a plane to New Zealand from L.A to shoot the next day. Arriving in Auckland at 1.45am and needing new hair extensions put in before my 2pm call time THAT day, my agent and I were in absolute meltdown mode frantically trying to find someone who could do my hair with next to no notice. I called superior hair at 10am and was able to be fit in immediately an hour later at 11am with Kelly. Despite my mental state being extremely jet lagged and not yet caffeinated, I explained to Kelly as best as I could what needs to be done to my hair and the multi tone of extensions etc. Right off the back, in my barely functional state of exhaustion and stress, she knew exactly what look I was needing to go for and how to proceed. In my 16 years of working in the film and TV industry in front of the camera and having sat in the chair of countless stylists and hair dressers, I can say with absolute 100% confidence that Kelly is one of those very few hair dressers out there that you rarely have the pleasure of sitting in her chair. Kelly is very friendly, confident in advising her client on the best way to proceed for their specific hair type and confident in the results of her work. Having visited so many stylists in my life who follow the "one size fits all" kind of theory that results in disappointing results for someone who may have a different hair type from another client. Kelly was very detailed in what would work for my specific hair type which is something very rare to find in a hair dresser. We had discussed how I've had concerns with other salons where they have several hair dressers working on the one client (as if you're being passed down a factory line) where issues become overlooked resulting in mediocre results. Kelly however seems very dedicated to each of her clients and ensuring not only are they getting their desired results, but they're getting the one on one attention and the best results for their hair type. I am not usually one to go online and write reviews when it comes to going to the salon or out for dinner. But after years and years of having extensions done, who knew I would have the privelage of sitting in the chair of a very talented dedicated young lady in New Zealand of all places. My agent and I were extremely happy with the results. My husband also commented it is the best he's ever seen my hair and that I look absolutely beautiful. With all the terrible hair extensionists and stylists out there that have their degree in hair extensions and styling from the "university of YouTube," it really is extremely difficult to find someone as talented as Kelly these days. I will DEFINITELY be using Kelly again in the future and my agent will be referring all of the clients on her roster visiting NZ on work towards Kelly for all the hair extensions and colouring needs. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and wish we could bring Kelly back to Los Angeles with us to do hair for us here at FOX studios. She definitely holds the talent of a stylist that would thrive back home in a city overcome with mediocre hair dressers that are more interested in quantity over quality . I look forward to coming back to see her for my coloring next week and hopefully twist her arm into coming back to L.A to work with our crew! I cannot say thank you enough, we are all thrilled with the results she delivered and I will continue to use her as my number one stylist here in New Zealand. So thank you very much Kelly, your work is amazing and we are all very grateful for squeezing me in on such short notice. This is horrible service if u dont even admit to being in the fault. U just stated the obvious. Ofcourse I know u cant re sell used product. But I am absolutely disgusted by the way u responded. U have once again just been absolutley unhelpful. U should be ashamed of your self. I have never asked for a refund. I went into ur store. I was rushed I was given the wrong product. I was not shown the colour I was just told. They did not open it and showed me what was inside. I did mention that it looked lighter but the lady serving me did not care. All she said was all hair looks lighter at the end. That is ridiculous. It looks un natural. And I called and said I was given the wrong colour and length. Instead of replacing it for me. And giving me what I wanted which would be the exact same price range just my hair colour and the length I initially asked for. This is how u help. Well I will never come to this store ever again. READ THIS AND NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS U WANT REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life time. I went in the store to say that I have never had extensions before but I would like something that looks as natural possible. As in blind in with my natural hair colour. And I wanted something med length. Not hair that touches my butt. 🙄🙄🙄. She firstly have me a wayyyy lighter color that doenst match and it was so long. I played 180. And I have never used it. When i opened it out of the packaging i noticed firstly the color. I called them. And the lady was super fun helpful and rude. She said that they will not be able to do anything. Because I broke the seal. She explained to me that its because they cannot resell it. Which sounds SOOO CHEAP OF HER. They should be able to fix my problem. It's how u get customers. They should apologize that this happened and ask me who I spoke to. So I can see the same person again to clarify this. But the lady on the phone just utterly unhelpful. It's like she didn't take any interesting in helping me. When I asked to see her and I can bring my extensions in she said she only works part time. And she kept mumbling on with excuses. Read moreHi usually have a good experience with superior hair but after today I’m left very upset. I called over a month ago and asked if they could book me in to get my clip in hair extensions put in for me As it’s my birthday party coming up. They said they don’t do hair ups but I just asked them to curl my hair and put my clip ins in for me that’s all I was after she said we can definitely do that for me over the phone ( I had bought my pack of extensions from them and used them once but I can’t quit put them in properly.) They said to me I have to pay a deposit but since my date is so far away they will send me a message for when I have to pay. Fast forward to present day and I called them up as I still hadn’t heard anything from them I asked if my booking to put my clip ins in my hair is still there the lady said my booking is still there I asked about the deposit and she said I need to pay my deposit ASAP. She gave me the account number. Since I was in the area I thought I would just go in and pay it instead of transferring the money. The guy who survived me was so lovely. I asked if I could pay my deposit and he said ofcourse and then I asked him about how much the price would be for clip ins he said x amount until someone called him out back to say we don’t do that service anymore! I was like oh okay that’s fine as I didn’t really want to make a sense I was left a bit shocked ( now I have nothing against the guy he was lovely and had no idea) what I’m upset about is they lady on the phone said to me we do this service and I need to pay my deposit but yet you don’t do the service. I think who ever is in charge needs to make it clear what services you do and don’t do so this won’t happen again as 2 staff members clearly didn’t have a clue about it. What happened if I put through my deposit and on the day I arrive with my clip ins ( bear in mind it’s my birthday party) and you can’t do my service and I paid a deposit.
