K-Road City Travellers — Hotel in Waitematā

I stayed here for two weeks and I would definitely stay here again.||I stayed in a four person bunk bed doom room and I have to say my bed was extremely comfy, one of the comfiest beds I've slept on in a while. ||For me, having a good bed is arguably the most important factor of staying anywhere.||There were some shelves in the room to organise your stuff which was rather helpful.||Probably the only downside of the room was how there were not many plug sockets.||I was alone in my room for the majority of my time staying but if it had been a full room then it would be a struggle for everyone to charge their various items.||The bathrooms are clean and modern, as are the two kitchens.||However there are only enough utensils and space for two people maximum to cook so there would be times where you would have to wait a while to cook.||The location is good and bad, it's very close to shops, bars and restaurants but that also means on certain nights like Friday or Saturday the various bars and clubs nearby tend to leap up in volume.||My advice, go out on a night out on those nights because it's gonna be hard to get a good sleep anyway.||Overall I'd give this place...

We have just had a week in City Travellers, and paid around $50 a night on a 7 night deal directly through their website. The location is the best thing about this place. It is close to Queen Street and the harbour, only about 5 mins walk, and Britomart, which is what we needed to be close to. And for the amount we paid in such a central location, we can't complain about the facilities. ||We stayed in a studio which was fairly spacious, with an ensuite, kitchen and tv. The shower was really good, but falling apart, and the bed was pretty big and comfortable. However, none of the facilities worked properly, we had to ask them to fix the tv almost everyday and the stove top took ages to heat up. But it was a comfortable stay for the week. If you don't mind average facilities or having the cleanest of rooms, then this place will be no problem.
