The beach is lovely and has wonderful vibes anything you want, food, drinks etc, overall I had a good time but I’m forced to give a negative review based solely on the consumer services available at this beach in Lagos. I attended the beach on the evening of October 27th 2023. When I arrived I was told I had to download the app (which I did) in order to make purchases as I believe they don’t take cash but I think I was being given mixed information as I was later told they do take cash but it’s just cheaper on the app.. I had initially ordered a beach bench with an umbrella in which an attendant at the beach led me to a bench, once I asked why I had a bench with no umbrella, they mentioned they did not have any available at the time and they would move me once one became available, which was understandable. Due to this, I decided to instead book a cabana as this option seemed more convenient. Before booking the Cabana, I asked the attendants what was the refund/incentive process for me to book the cabana instead, and would the 5k naira I had used for the cost of the bench be supplemented towards the cost of the cabana 25k naira. I was told that they do not have a refund process and that there was no way to get a refund. That seemed very unprofessional that an organisation operating at the magnitude in which Landmark beach operates within Nigeria do not operate a refund process; so I asked the attendant if they had an incentive scheme because not having a refund process logically speaking meant that the organisation I was purchasing a service from were essentially stealing from me without providing the service which I had paid for. This also meant that Landmark beach were making double the profit on that bench as it will be sold to another beach goer once I had purchased the cabana. I explained to the attendant that this effectively meant that the organisation is stealing from me if I do not get a refund for a service which I did not use, nobody seemed to understand this logic and explained it is how it is in Nigeria, hence, I did not get a refund or an incentive. When I asked to speak to the manager, he kept ignoring his employees calls and nothing was done to ensure I received my 5k refund for the bench which I did not use. This shocked and surprised me, as I can only imagine how much in discretionary profit landmark makes daily for services purchased and not used due to mistakes or lack of knowledge. I went on the app again looking for a help button where I could relay this information but nothing there either just an FAQs page which was not very helpful in order to get this resolved. Apart from the fact that I went to a business that essentially stole from me, the beach was lovely with lots of things to do and generally the customer services was good. I would advise for you to do your research before you go (as I went on a whim), so that you do not have the same experience as I did. I did end up getting the cabana and thank you to the lovely man who tried to call his manager to assist in the situation but I think for me it was more about the principle, that as a consumer, I have rights but realised that those rights were removed from me with my experience at this beach. Which is an experience I have never come...

I took 45 photos of this place so definitely I love it!!!!!

No much words to use, landmark Beach is just "IT" (not the internet technician kinda IT) The views are killing. The pure white sand is breath taking. The beach arrangements is top-notch. The bars offer the best services. The blue sea is alluring. Everything is just perfect.

The only little disadvantage is the price for space. It's as high as 25,000-50,000 the cheapest been 5k. The entrance fee, might be too expensive for the "average Nigerian" which is 3,000 naira only( no deductions nor discounts) Landmark is a private beach hence the whole expensive prices. You can also book your tickets online and get a discount of 500naira(for just the entrance fee tho)

Landmark is perfect for hangouts, reunion, dates, birthdays, etc

There's different bars, restaurants, a game house/lodge, a rooftop bar, ETC

If you're looking to socialize and meet new persons, landmark Beach is the right place for you.

Landmark don't accommodate any sorts of smoking. So bringing weed or any hard drugs at your own risk. Landmark also don't accept overnight partying as the beach closes by 10pm.

Don't be deceived by the lack of waves, The depth of the beach is massive. and if you can't swim you might just find yourself 18ft underneath white sand and lots of water above😣😣😣(they do have a lifeguard tho, so they'll warm you once you start going too far)

Landmark also have a member only club and whatever "members only benefit" (just incase you want to join)

And their staffs are so experienced and they know how to help you spend you moneyyyyyyyy 🤣🤣🤣🤣(they'll just keep coming to you with...

Very mediocre, at times even frustrating experience:

6000 Naira is a very steep price to access the ocean in a country where 70% of people live off 1 dollar or less a day

You cannot pay in cash, you cannot pay with an international visa or mastercard. So basically, if you don't have a Nigerian debit card, you're out of luck and have to ask other guests to buy you a ticket and pay them back in cash.

once you have your ticket and want to enter the beach, you get stopped by security, who tell you that you can't take your camera to the beach. So you can march all the way back to the ticket booth for them to hold your camera

In order to bring your camera to the actual beach, you'll be asked to pay up to 50.000 Naira, which is ridiculous. Not every owner of a camera intends to have a professional shoot.

Once on the actual beach, you are reminded by staff that the 6k entrance fee doesn't entitle you to lay down on the sunbeds or even use a wooden bench, for which you have to pay extra, making it even more expensive.

The beach itself is clean but nothing too special. There's noise coming from the construction of a building at the beach front. I have been to much nicer beaches that have cost me exactly nothing.

All in all the place is trying to milk customers, while not offering much at all. I have been to free public beaches that were nicer, where I could take photos with my camera, drink my own beverages and not get annoyed by staff reminding me to pay...

Basically one of the cleanest and coolest private beaches in Lagos. Nice activities for adults including kids, and never a dull moment for family and friends. It also comes highly recommended for expats who intend to enjoy one of the coolest places to visit in Lagos. Only downside is how ridiculously pricey things relatively are, such as food and refreshments. I would recommend either cooking at home and taking your food to the beach and enjoy with family and friends, or, grab some takeaways from a fast food and carry along with you to the beach. You can also bring your grill to the beach if you prefer. I saw so many people bring their own food to the beach, which left me with no choice than to buy the expensive food and drinks. Also be aware you will still need to pay an enterance fee of 2000 for adults, which is also a sperate cost from paying for a cabana or lounger etc. One last piece of advice, ensure to call in advance and make a reservation albeit for a cabana or loungers and tents, very useful to avoid unnecessary waiting time at the entrance, as they might have been reserved for others especially if you plan to go on a weekend. I hope you find this review useful.😉

It was alright - my expectation after all the hype made my first visit rather disappointing. In one sentence, a fine private beach that makes you only enjoy it when you come well budgeted and prepared. Entrance was a hassle to start with. It was 2k unlike other people reviewed here (I guess it's changed from 3k) and you MUST BOOK ONLINE, there is no other option like paying at the ticket box upon arrival. Therefore I had to scan the code, follow all the steps, transfer my money to the Landmark wallet, wait 20 minutes for it to reflect, and finally get the ticket. This was exhausting even before entering the beach, and i saw another lady complaining about the inability to pay at the site. ⚠️ By the way, if you transfer to the digital wallet, make sure you transfer N2,040 as 40 is the processing fee. We are in Nigeria, yaaay Then, as it was Monday noon time, there was almost no one and that was nice at least as I have come to relax. I sat down at one of the very many emptry umbrellas, and after half an hour a guy came to claim my payment of 3k. And a coconut juice cost 2.5k as well. Oh by the way, water bottle is allowed on Monday. Why Monday? I didn't get an answer. Haha.
