Hotelinn Oniru, Lagos — Hotel in Lagos State

I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable stay at this hotel. Despite advertising 24/7 electricity, the power went out 7–9 times a day. The refrigerator in our room did not function properly, the AC was not working, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable—almost like sleeping on a rock. To make matters worse, there was visible mold on both the bed and the pillows.

Despite multiple requests, face towels were never provided; only large bath towels were given. I was eventually told that the hotel simply did not have face towels available.

The most alarming issue occurred when £100 went missing from my husband’s pocket while we were out. The only individuals with access to our room at the time were the housekeeper and a maintenance worker. We never requested or authorized maintenance to enter our room or check on anything. Yet, we were told afterward that they were addressing an issue with the window, which was false—we personally checked and confirmed that the window was intact and securely locked.

We reported the situation to the hotel owner, who claimed to have questioned both staff members, but no real investigation or resolution followed. We felt unsafe, unheard, and disrespected. Although we originally booked a six-night stay, we decided to leave after just two nights due to the overall poor experience and lack of accountability.

now the property are saying I never stayed there to cover themselves.. my husband King and I stayed in room 305. Tapsak, their front door worker would always come and open the my door for me, because they only gave my husband and I one room key. When I asked for a second room key, they told me they couldn’t give me a second one even they were aware it was two of us in the hotel room. we spoke to Banye who is their project Engineer. He took both my husband and my phone number. Banye is now calling my husband telling him he doesn’t appreciate the review. If you don’t like the review, correct your management and remove the thieves in your hotel. We have already contacted the police on this matter. My husband spent half my birthday at the police station filing report on the hotel instead of us spending it together. Please save yourself the heartache and don’t stay here. The room was immaculate beautifully furnished, quiet, and extremely comfortable. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean and modern, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided.

The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The hotel is also in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, and key attractions, making it easy to get around.
