Rye Restaurant — Restaurant in Lagos State

Lovely serene Resturant at Nordic Hotel. Quiet, simple, lovely artsy aesthetics as well. Although no significant signboard outside, the Resturant/hotel is easy to find. There’s good parking space inside as well.

Food is tasty here, a good variety of food from local to international dishes available. We asked for spicy and peppery food and the kitchen delivered well. Food and drinks were delivered in decent time, no excessive wait.

Customer service here is fantastic too. Our server, Emmanuel was very polite and helpful as well.

The only downside for us was the deserts. The chocolate cake and ice cream and it wasn’t as tasty as expected. Got the Crunchy Churros as well but it was a tad bland.

Nonetheless, enjoyed my time there. Good wifi and work space for meeting or work....

I am being very generous with the review! I had very high hopes for the food at the restaurant due to where it's situated but it's a bit of a miss. It's a bit of a hassle to get served and even really ask for what you want or how you'd like your food, and if you have special requirements. The food prep standards are quite questionable and the wait-staff just seem to stand around having idle chit-chat, and often make snarky comments...I've been there 4 times, and that was the last time...The food on the menu doesn't correlate with what you actually get, apparently what the wait staff hears is different from what...

Restaurant doesn’t allow single girls in.

After I was done eating my food, I had to wait extra 20 mins for my cab and the manager came to tell me that I’m not allowed to sit down without ordering anything. Mind you, I had already paid my bill, I was just waiting for me cab. They still insisted that I leave their space. However there were two white women just sitting down whom they did not disturb . I was very appropriately dressed, I just was...
