Fryburg Suites — Hotel in Lagos State

Just come back from Lagos. Stayed there for 4 nights. What I must say. It is simply terrible and worth place where I stayed in Lagos.||I don’t know what to start with?|| Room -outdated, awful dirty bedding , almost no natural lights.||Bathroom, I have no words to describe.||There was a rat living on the ceiling in my room, I heard it running every night and was throwing pillows to scare this creature. But that was not all, there was those big cockroaches, most probably coming from little kitchen.||Card from room was working only for few hours, than you need to go to reception again and again.||On one of the days there was no water for at least 4 hours.||Internet was stable, but permanent problems with login in, so I end up using my mobile internet, hopefully that is not expensive about 3$ for 1.5GB||Channels on TV very limited only 9.||Front door lock was broken before and there is no security, little push and anyone can access your room.||There was a small safe in cupboard, but it was not fixed to shelf and it was locked.||So all 4 days I was carrying passport and usd currency with me.||There was complementary breakfast, but I decided not to take chances :)||This is first time I got misinformed by rating on TripAdvisor, honestly this hotel is just worst ever place. Add 20 $ and go to EKo, add 40 and go to holidayInn ( old Protea) ||For same money you can go to morning side, there are choices in VI. But...

My husband and I went to Cotton Suites on Lagos Island (Ahmodu Tijani Street) after seeing a promo on the Dealday website for a room for #15,999 with a saving of #24,000. We called ahead to verify and reserve a room but when we got there, we were given a different room from what was advertised online. We brought this to the attention of the check in assistant, but both him and the manager whom he called over the phone insisted that the offer online was wrong and refused to honour it. We were also told that they had called Dealday to rectify the error, but it wasn't rectified. As it was late at night, and we were on our honeymoon, we did not have any other choice but to stay as it was too late to go looking for another hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. We were given the Deluxe room instead of the Executive premium room which is what was advertised, and the checking assistant actually told us that the offer was for a Standard room but we were getting the Deluxe room because the Standard room was unavailable making it seem as if we were being done a favour. The restaurant service was also below standard as we kept having to make repeated calls for part of our order. The food was nice and the room was clean, but we are really unhappy with the fact that both Dealday and Cotton Suites mislead us and the public by false...

I like the view of this hotel from the outside but the inside is even more welcoming and I am happy I choosed to stay here. The hotel is a one story twin building with 15 rooms, restaurant, bar and a terrace bar. I must say I got more than expected as this small hotel is everything in terms of class and a very welcom8ng ambience with the home away from home feeling. It's located in a cool and calm area, well fenced and a secured gate. The staff are another set of attraction as they never stop greeting and asking of you are enjoying your stay and if there is anyway to help... They are such a beauty and gives you a kingly treat. I recommend this hotel to be a good...
